Nike Air Yeezy 2 Golden Child Customs by LASCO

Thanks to the (understandable) dispute between Kanye West and Ceo Mark Parker, we may never see another Yeezy release from Nike, but that won’t stop the sneaker customizers. Teaming up with high-end sneaker maker LASCO, custom kicks maker John Geiger has created the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Golden Child. Using only premium materials, the sneaker consists of 62 individual components, five types of leather and three different threads. Each pair required over 40 hours to complete.

The Nike Air Yeezy 2 Golden Child will release on August 13 in a very limited run. Expect distribution solely through LASCO.

Jordan Son of Mars “Blink” (Well, Almost)

Jordan Brand seems to be incorporating design cues from the Nike Air Yeezy into its lineup, judging from the looks of this newly-surfaced colorway. Clearly inspired by the Nike Air Yeezy “Blink”, this pair combines a black suede and leather upper with a dark grey and translucent neon sole, complete with neon speckles. As a reminder that this is a Jordan sneaker and not a Yeezy, a deep red has been used on the sock liner instead of the Yeezy’s infamous hot pink. It’s unknown as to when this sneaker is scheduled to drop, but keep checking back for an update in the near future.

With Kanye switched over to Adidas, the Nike Air Yeezy may be done, but its spirit lives on in the form of other sneakers. The new Nike Air Max 1 FB colorway is a perfect example. Using similar styling to the Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum Nike Air Yeezy 2, this pair incorporates a Wolf Grey upper with bright red lining, contrasted with a lime green on the upper eyelet and midsole. A darker grey has been applied to the heel. You can get this sneaker now at stores like Titolo.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro PRM “Solar Red Yeezy”

Kanye West may no longer be a member of Nike’s entourage, but his infamous Black/Solar Red theme will live on in the form of this upcoming Nike Air Foamposite Pro colorway. It true Yeezy fashion, The majority of sneaker has been blacked out, with some extra flair added thanks to a black carbon fiber print on the Foamposite upper. Solar Red accents have been placed on the tongue and sock liner, while a glow in the dark sole adds the finishing touches. Release info for this sneaker has not yet been announced, but you better start saving, as these are guaranteed to move fast when they drop.

Nike Air Yeezy 2 Black/Stealth Sample

Just last week, we got a look at a pair of Black/White-Cement Nike Air Yeezy 2 samples, as well as word that Nike isn’t quite done with the sneaker, and more releases could be expected. Today, RBTHVS gave us a look at what appears to be another sample colorway. This pair uses an all-black upper, contrasted only by a Stealth sockliner and sole. Unfortunately, it’s still unknown for sure if this is truly another colorway or just a custom. Either way, let’s hope Nike does decide to give us at least one more Yeezy II release. Stay tuned for more.

Kanye West Wearing “Fire Red” Nike Air Yeezy

Back in April, we got a look at sample pair of “Fire Red” Nike Air Yeezys. At this point, we’ll probably never see a production run of these, but Kanye must have had at least a pair or two made just for him. Here’s a few pics of Kanye at the 2012 BET Awards rocking the Fire Reds as he steps out the brand new Lamborghini Aventador just recently received from girlfriend Kim Kardashian. Not sure what I’d rather have, the shoes, or that muderered-out Lambo.

Rare Air: Nike Air Yeezy “Fire Red” Samples

Lately, we’ve been seeing a lot of unreleased Nike Air Yeezy colorways. Here’s one more to add to the lot. This pair has a navy upper with what looks to be a fire red midsole and grey suede around the tongue. It’s definitely a step away from the usual black, grey and beige Yeezy colors. At this point, it’s safe to say that these will not be going public, but it sure is nice to dream. From Tung Ho.

Rare Air: Air Jordan VI Retro x Nike Air Yeezy

Now here’s a hybrid sneaker you’ve probably never imagined. Combining the upper of the Nike Air Yeezy with the sole of the Air Jordan VI, Nike created this special sneaker for the 2009 Doernbecher auction. Completely blacked out with the exception of the orange lacelock, it uses a combination suede, leather, and patent leather. Not much info on these, but don’t be surprised if they are the only pair in existence. From Just Don It and MN.

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke “Yeezy” by Shea White

Designed at 21 Mercer by Shea White, this Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke takes inspiration from all of the Nike Air Yeezy colorways, implementing colors from all three pairs. This upper consists of perforated khaki leather, grey patent leather, and medium grey suede. Pink has been used on the sock liner and outsole, and a white sole completes the look. I bet Kanye even would like to get his hands on this pair.

Rare Air: Nike Air Yeezy Glow in the Dark Sample

What’s hotter than Nike Air Yeezys? Glow the Dark Yeezys, of course. That’s exactly was seen on the feet of Nike designer Tiffany Beers at the unveiling of the Nike Mag 2011 premier, held at Nike Sportswear at the Montalban in Hollywood, CA (video below). While these were rumored to release for quite some time, the never made it to the public. As you can see, almost the entire upper has received glow in the dark material, with the exception of the laces and inner lining. Hopefully this idea will make it to the Nike Air Yeezy 2.
