Thanks to the (understandable) dispute between Kanye West and Ceo Mark Parker, we may never see another Yeezy release from Nike, but that won’t stop the sneaker customizers. Teaming up with high-end sneaker maker LASCO, custom kicks maker John Geiger has created the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Golden Child. Using only premium materials, the sneaker consists of 62 individual components, five types of leather and three different threads. Each pair required over 40 hours to complete.
The Nike Air Yeezy 2 Golden Child will release on August 13 in a very limited run. Expect distribution solely through LASCO.
