Even though we are only halfway through 2011, Nike SB is already prepping for next year’s lineup. Here’s a look at one of the colorways planned for 2012. It uses a combination of full-grain leather and nubuck suede, with bone grey along the outer edges, and black on the inner panels and the swoosh. The white and black midsole has been used. Keep checking back for more updates on this beautiful colorway.
Many of you are probably familiar with the Air Jordan VI and Air Jordan XIV Jordan Motorsports, but how about the Jordan Motorsports Air Jordan IVs? Created in 2007, this pair has a white/black-blue color scheme, and is basically an alternate version of the “Mars Blackmon” Air Jordan IVs, as the heel symbol remains. Apparently, only 16 pairs of these were made, making them incredibly difficult to find. Luckily, eBay seller newyorkcompany has listed this size 13 pair. Don’t expect to get them for cheap, however, this pair currently has a buy-it-now price of $6,999.99. Here’s a direct link to the auction.

Those of you who’ve been sneakerheads for a while may remember the high top “Iron” Dunks. Have you ever wondered what they would have looked like in low top form? Well, we finally get to find out. Taking inspiration from the Iron Dunk High, Nike SB has created this new low top colorway which uses a similar nubuck suede upper and blue swoosh. Other than the laces, they are a perfect match to the original. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing these in person. Stay tuned for more information on these.
Check out this new Nike Trainer 1.3 colorway, created through a collaboration between Nike and EA Sports to celebrate the release of NCAA Football ’12. Done almost completely in black, this pair uses a very unique fabric selection, with wool on the sides and on the toe box, very similar to the fabric you’d see on a letterman jacket. To complete the theme, the tongue Nike logo has been replaced with an EA Sports logo, done in chenille fabric. The toe guard and heel areas are comprised of leather. You can find these now at select stores.
Sure, there’s plenty of Air Jordans to ball in, but how about a pair suited for a long walk? Check out the Jordan Classic ’87. Inspired by the Air Jordan II, this model is low cut and simple in design, so they’ll look right with just about any outfit. An air unit also provides the extra cushioning. This pair has a white upper with birch accents, and a gum outsole. There’s no official release date yet, but hopefully we’ll see these by this fall.

If you missed out on the Space Jam Dunks yesterday, don’t fret, there’s quite a few other hot Dunk releases from Nike SB that will make a nice substitute. Here’s one of my favorites. This pair has a black leather upper, a white swoosh, and bright orange accents. A pair of orange laces have been included to complete the theme. These hit shelves in June, but due to a lack of hype (no cool nickname?), you can still cop these for a reasonable price on in your local skate shop, or even on eBay.
The Nike Air Classic BW returns again in the all-new color scheme. Covered in obsidian nubuck and mesh material throughout, it has received a touch of white on the swoosh and sole, as well as 3M reflective material. This colorway is available now, and is sold exclusively through JD Sports.
If you aren’t on Twitter yet, now might be a good time to join. To promote its Twitter page, Jordan Brand is hosting a drawing for its followers in which one lucky fan will win this special Air Jordan 2011 Q Flight colorway, inspired by the popular social networking site. Using a white upper, it has received color via a blue and aquamarine “Twitterish” graphic near the heel, and matching blue accents. Instead of the usual Jumpman, an ampersand has been placed on the tongue. You can follow Jordan Brand here, but while you’re at it, you might as well follow Air 23 as well.
The classic Nike Air Pegasus returns to finish off summer with this beautiful new color scheme. Done primarily in white, this pair has been accentuated with golden yellow on the tongue and bold berry on the swoosh and sole. This pair would look great with a t-shirt and jeans. In my opinion, the Jordan SC-2 is one of the hottest sneakers to enter the Jordan lineup in quite a while. Taking inspiration from the IVs and Nike’s Flight series, they truly represent the best of late 80s basketball shoes. Just recently, this new “Stealth” colorway was released. It has a Light graphite and stealth upper, decorated nicely with red and white accents and graphics. They are available now at Finish Line, and with free shipping, too.
By now, most of you are probably already aware that the Ray Allen Air Jordan XIII PEs were released today at House of Hoops in Boston and SoleFly in Miami, but did you know that Jordan Brand also created a special pair of socks to go along with them? Check it out. Green in color, the socks feature a golden Jumpman symbol on one sock, and Sugar Ray’s signature and silhouette on the other. I haven’t checked to see if these made it to all stores, but you can at least expect to see them at the stores carrying the XIIIs. You can also get them from Air Randy. On a side note, if you are looking for the Ray Allen Air Jordan XIIIs, there’s quite a few on eBay now, but they are going for a fairly hefty price. Here’s a link to the auction listings.

I seldom post Chucks, but being the comic book geek that I am, I couldn’t resist sharing these. Taking inspiration from the greatest detective ever, this Batman-themed pair has a black upper with the original Batman logo wrapped around the heel. On the tongue, you’ll find the more modern logo, done in gray. This pair is part of the DC Comics Heroes pack. You can get them all now at RMK.
With Nike’s Hyperfuse material getting more and more popular, it was just a matter of time before it reached the AF1s. Thanks to DJ Clark Kent, here’s a first look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low Hyperfuse. Showing a little more charisma than the black/black high top model we saw lat month, this pair has a blue and white upper, complemented with yellow translucent material on the swoosh and eyelets. I’m looking forward to seeing these in person.

The Space Jam Dunk SBs are without a doubt the most anticipated release Dunk release of the year (and probably since the Tiffanys), and now they are finally here. While some skate shops are still waiting on a shipment, the majority are releasing them today. Unless you preordered or camped out, your chances of copping these are getting slim, but there’s bound to be a few stores who still have a pair or two, so don’t give up. If all fails, there’s quite a few on eBay, just expect to pay more.
We don’t get new releases of the Nike Zoom Uptempo V very often, but when it happens, it’s well worth the wait. Here’s a look at an all-new upcoming colorway. Its white upper has been complemented nicely with a purple midsole and sock liner, and a yellow swoosh. A clear blue sole puts the icing on the cake. There’s no official release date yet, but keep checking back for information on these. From Air-Randy.
