Air Jordan 1 Mid “Year of the Snake”

In addition to February’s Year of the Snake Pack, Jordan Brand has chosen to create a second standalone colorway to celebrate the Chinese year. This time, they’ve opted to use the mid cut version, with covering it with a wide variety of colors. The upper primarily consists of a fuchsia leather and dark blue suede, with magenta graphics. To make things even more exciting, lime green laces have been chosen to hold the sneaker together, while a matching sole  does the rest. As an extra detail, the Year of the Snake logo has been placed on the tongue. Very little is known about this colorway so far, but check back for an update soon.

Reebok Answer 1 “Year of the Snake”

Reebok gets in on the Chinese New Year celebration with the Reebok Answer 1 “Year of the Snake”. While the sneaker is primarily wrapped in black leather, homage to the Chinese New Year is paid thanks to metallic iridescent graphics that change from green to purple. The release date has not been announced yet, but they are expected to drop sometime in the 4th quarter of the year. Check back for an update on these soon.

Air Jordan 1 Retro “Year of the Snake”

Jordan brand joins the Year of the Snake celebration with this beautiful Air Jordan 1 colorway. Using both patent leather and suede, this pair has basically been wrapped in in every color of the rainbow, such as red, hot pink, royal blue, purple and yellow. A gradient colored sole fades from green to red, finished off in purple. A golden Air Jordan completes the look. You’ll be able to get these on February 2 as part of the Year of the Snake Pack.

New Balance 574 “Year of the Snake” Pack

New Balance joins in on celebrating the upcoming Chinese new year with its 574 “Year of the Snake” pack. The pack consists of four different colorways, the first of which features a rainbow gradient base overlaid by a navy snakeskin pattern and matching accents. The year of the snake symbol have been embroidered on the tongue and heel, while a graphic of a snake has been placed on the insole. The other three colors also have a snake theme but with a more simplistic look, providing the options of red, black or green. The multi-colored version will be limited to select stores throughout Asia, while the other three will be more widely available.

Nike Dunk Low GS “Year of the Snake” Silver/Black-Gold

Here’s yet another Dunk Low “Year of the Snake” colorway for the little ones, but this time with a little more bling. This pair uses a metallic silver and black leather upper, finished off with metallic gold graphics. As you can see, the gold swoosh is made of snakeskin-like material. No release date yet, but these should drop early next year along with the White/Black colorway.

Nike Dunk Low GS “Year of the Snake” White/Black

This year even the kiddies get to celebrate the Chinese new year in style thanks to this new Year of the snake-inspired Nike Dunk Low GS release. It uses a white base overlaid with a light grey faux snakeskin, finished off with a black swoosh and matching laces. The outsole has also been molded in black. No release yet, but expect to see them at the beginning of the year.

Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 “Year of the Snake”

2013 marks the Chinese Year of the Snake, and Nike has brought back a high-tech classic to celebrate. The Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 “Year of the Snake” has been covered in a bright red, finished with red faux snakeskin material on the toe and heel areas. A Chinese symbol on the tongue and a blue outlined swoosh add the finishing touches.
