It looks like Nike Sportwear is getting in on the “Year of the Dragon” action as well. To celebrate the Chinese new year, they’ve created this beautiful Year of the Dragon pack, which includes not only a Destroyer jacket, but a pair of Air Force 1 Low Supremes as well. The jacket has received special artwork on the inner lining, and a similar design has been placed on the insoles of the AF1s. Stay tuned for more in this release.
Thanks to Sneaker Freaker, we now have a much more detailed look at the upper “Year of the Dragon” Air Jordan 2012. Created to celebrate the Chinese New Year (January 23), they have received a combination of dark and aqua blue on the upper, with yellow used on the tongue and laces. A dark blue dragon graphic has been placed on the support straps, while a white outsole completes the look. This sneaker will also be incredibly versatile, including two different booties and three different insoles (Fly Through, Fly Around, Fly Over). There’s still no official release date, but I’m guessing that January 23 is definitely a possibility for these.
The Nike Zoom KD IV joins China’s Year of the Dragon celebration with this upcoming release. An almost completely blue upper has been used, while a somewhat hypnotizing pattern covers the strap and tongue. A white swoosh has been placed on the strap to provide a little color contrast. Stay tuned for info on the release date for these.

The LeBron 9s are no longer alone in celebrating China’s new year. The Air Jordan 2012 joins the parade with this fresh new colorway. Much more vibrant than the designs we’ve seen before, the “Year of the Dragon” 2012s have been done in a bright blue pebbled leather, with aquamarine material holding the Flywire together. Bright yellow has been used on the sockliner and laces, and bright white for the Jumpman and outsole. They will release in stores sometime next year.
LeBron gets a gets special Christmas colorway every year, so it’s only fair that Nike make one for Kobe as well. To celebrate Xmas, the Kobe VIIs have received a red upper, green laces and a matching heel, and a yellow swoosh. Yellow Flywire material and white sole has been used to complete the look. There is no official release date yet, but you can bet that the Black Mamba will be rocking these on Christmas Day as the Lakers start the NBA season against the Bulls. From Trrbo823.
