Paying tribute to the huge basketball culture in the city of Tianjin, China, Nike has created its most detailed Nike Air Foamposite One releases to date. The upper has been covered with a print of one of Tianjin’s most popular pieces of art from Yangliuqing, a market town in Tianjin. The painting represents the town’s strong fish industry. In addition, the eyelet area has received a black fish scale pattern, while the sole is molded in a translucent pink. Additional flower artwork has been used in place of the traditional tongue and heel logos. This colorway released today in China, but there are no plans for a U.S. release as of yet. Fortunately, a few pairs have already surfaced on eBay, but they aren’t cheap. Here’s a direct link to the listings if you’d like to grab a pair.
