Following tradition, Nike pays tribute to Kevin Durant’s late Aunt Pearl with this all-new colorway of his latest and greatest sneaker, the Nike Zoom KD 9.
Usually draped in a flower print theme, this Aunt Pearl-inspired design takes on a much darker color palette, features a mostly black upper, fully constructed of suede material. Hot Punch has been chosen for the swoosh graphics, and can also be seen through the sneaker’s mesh fabric. Matching black laces hold the sneaker snug against your feet, while a black sole provides separation from the pavement. A visible Hot Punch Zoom Air Unit provides the cushioning.
The Nike Zoom KD 9 Aunt Pearl is priced at $150, and is scheduled to officially hit stores on Saturday, January 28. Availability at online sites like Nike.com will begin at 10:00 AM EST. Funds from this sneaker will be used to support the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
