Nike LeBron Soldier XI “Kay Yow”

Showing support for breast cancer awareness, Nike is releases this special colorway of the Nike LeBron Soldier XI, dedicated to NC State’s late women’s basketball coach, Kay Yow.

The upper of the Nike LeBron XI Soldier Kay Yow has been engulfed white, save for hot pink graphics, applied to the top strap and tongue. Matching pink has been applied to the sock liner, while white straps keep the sneaker secure. The midsole is molded in white, finished off with a flash hot pink outsole.

Expect the Nike LeBron Soldier 11 Kay Yow to drop in September, retailing for $130. Stay tuned for information on the sneaker’s availability and production run.

Nike Kobe IX (9) EM “Kay Yow Think Pink”

Tonight we have a look at the Nike Kobe 9 Kay Yow “Think Pink”, a special colorway created to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Sporting a pink upper, black has been used on the tongue and midsole. Metallic silver graphics add some extra flavor, while dotted laces and pink speckles across the midsole finish things off. Nike typically creates two or three sneakers each year for this special cause, but this is certainly one of the best ones we’ve seen so far. It’s uncertain if Nike plans to release things, but let’s keep our fingers crossed that they do.

Nike Hyperdunk 2012 “Think Pink” New Images

Here’s a second glance at the “Think Pink” Nike Lunar Hyperdunk. Created for the Kay Yow Cancer fund, this sneaker has an all-pink upper, with the exception of a white swoosh and tongue logo. A while outsole completes the color scheme. You can get these in stores now, and also online at Finish Line. Here’s a direct link.

Pink on a basketball sneaker has never looked better thanks to the new “Think Pink” Nike Hyperdunk 2012. Created to support breast cancer awareness, this sneaker has received a completely pink upper with the exception of a white swoosh. A white outsole add the finishing touches. Nike Zoom Kobe VI – Kay Yow

Teaming up with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund once again, Nike has created this beautiful Nike Zoom Kobe VI colorway. It uses a pink base on the upper, complemented with white accents, silver heel support, and a pink Cancer Awareness logo has been placed on the side. Kobe’s signature on the heel has also been painted pink. You can get these now at House of Hoops stores.

Nike Hyperize Kay Yow at House of Hoops

In honor of the late NC State Womens basketball coach Kay Yow, Nike has created this special Nike Hyperize colorway to support the Women’s Basketball College Association Cancer fund. They are available now at House of Hoops, and there’s a few pairs on ebay.
