Many of us will never have the funds to go on an African safari, but thanks to Nike’s new Blazer Safari collection, you can have one on your feet. The Safari Collection consists of three very different designs, each taking inspiration from the feline and reptile predators you could expect to see in the wild. All three colorways have already sold out on Nike.com, but luckily quite a few pairs are available on eBay. Here’s a direct link to the listings.
Take a look at these cool “Hong Kong” Blazers, created by custom sneaker designer JBF. Covered in red nubuck suede, the upper has received very intricate details, including the Kanji symbols for ‘Hong Kong on the heel, and a beautiful flower pattern on the side. On the tongue, the Nike logo has been replaced with Hong Kong’s MTR train system symbol. Also, a quilted flower pattern has been used to create the swoosh.
