Air Jordan VI (6) Retro “Spizike” Release Details

For all of those looking to cop the “Spizike” Air Jordan 6 Retro next weekend, here’s some release details to help make it a little easier. They are officially scheduled to hit stores on August 9, but many stores like Footlocker and Footaction will implement the ticketing procedures. Tickets will be given out at participating stores starting Monday, August 4 through Tuesday, August 5. Selected ticket holders will be notified via phone on Wednesday August 6, or Thursday, August 7. Other chains such as Finish Line will release the Spizike VIs on release day on a first come, first serve basis. Additionally, most sites, including Nike.com and Eastbay.com will have this release available online beginning at 8:00 a.m. EDT on August 9.

Due to the hype surrounding this release, obtaining a pair maybe quite difficult. If you’d like to avoid the lines and stress, you can purchase them now on eBay. Here’s a direct link to the listings.

Air Jordan 6 (VI) Retro “Spiz’ike” Detailed Images and Release Info

Here’s a detailed look at the upcoming Air Jordan 6 “Spiz’ike”, Jordan Brand’s newest tribute to legendary director and Spike Lee. Sporting a beautiful bright red leather upper, A white and icy clear sole has been fitted to provide a perfect contrast, while black and green has been chosen for the tongue and heel logos. The sockliner has been decorated with a print similar to that seen on the Jordan Spiz’ike. The Air Jordan 6 Spizike has a scheduled release date of August 9, retailing for $170. Air Jordan VI (6) Retro “History of Jordan” New Images, Release Info

After mostly rumors, we finally have release info on the upcoming Air Jordan 6 “History of Jordan” colorway, as well as some new images. Originally thought to be either a Spike Lee “Joint” or a Christmas themed sneaker, it seems this pair will actually take some inspiration from MJ’s illustrious career. It comes wrapped in  a beautiful bright red leather upper with matching laces, mated to a white and clear sole. Black and green graphics cover the tongue and heel. While the exact story behind this sneaker remains unknown, they are scheduled to hit stores on August 9. Stay tuned for more details.

Today we get another look at the “History of Jordan” Air Jordan 6 Retro. Originally thought to be a tribute to Spike Lee, it turns out this colorway was actually created to recognize the numerous milestone’s in MJ’s career. Featuring a bright red leather and black and green tongue all mated to a white and icy clear sole, this is easily one of the most vibrant Air Jordan 6 colorways we’ve seen so far. No release info has been announced for this sneaker as of yet, but keep checking back with Air 23 for more updates on these in the future. From My Sole.
