Designed by 10-year-old Caden Lampert, a patient at the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, this pair sports a beautiful bright blue suede upper, overlaid with glow-in-the-dark speckles. Basketball graphics have been placed on both the sides and outsole of the sneaker, showcasing Caden’s love for the game. Also a big fan of music, a boom box can be seen on the inside of the tongue.
The Air Jordan VIII Doernbecher will release along with the 2014 Doernbecher Freesystle Collection on November 23 at select stores, including Nike Georgetown, Nike San Francisco, NIKETOWN New York, Nike Roosevelt Field, NIKETOWN Los Angeles, Nike Lenox, Nike Las Vegas, Nike Portland, Nike Chicago and Nike Dallas, as well as online starting at 7:00 a.m. PST.
