Charlotte ‘s basketball team has regained its Hornets name, but someone at Jordan Brand is feeling nostalgic about the Bobcats. This recently-surfaced pair pays tribute to the short-lived mascot, sporting a “Bordeaux-esque” black and grey leather upper with blue grey and orange graphics. It’s highly unlikely that Charlotte will switch back to the Bobcats name, but a little reminiscing never hurt. Release info for this colorway remains unannounced, however keep checking back for an update in the near future.

Jordan’s recent Bobcats-themed releases just keep coming. This Air Jordan 1 Nouveau design makes full use of the team’s dark blue “away” theme, featuring a full navy suede upper and matching laces. The theme is completed thanks to a white and orange sole. You can get this colorway now at shops like Sneaker Politics.

Air Jordan 1 Retro 94 “Bobcats”

Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 10-inspired Air Jordan 1 Retro 94 design gets the Bobcats treatment with thisso-to-drop release. Its sports a Wolf Grey and Cool Grey base, complemented with Atomic Orange on the sockliner and outsole. Dark Powder blue thread has been used to embroider the graphics and helps to complete the theme. You’ll be able to get these in stores this Saturday retailing for $130, but they are actually already available on eBay at cheaper prices. Here’s a direct link if you’d like to save some case.

Air Jordan X (10) Retro “Bobcats” Release Info

The Charlotte Bobcats may not be a winning team, but that doesn’t stop them from getting their very own Air Jordan colorway, especially when the team’s owner is none other than His Airiness. This upcoming Air Jordan 10 colorway takes inspiration from the Charlotte team’s uniform, featuring Wolf Grey leather surrounded by dark blue. Atomic Orange accents and Power Blue laces help complete the Bobcats theme, while an icy sole serves as an extra touch. This colorway is scheduled to release on January 11, retailing for $170.
