Nike Barkley Posite Max “Gamma Green” – Release Info

Tonight here’s some release info on the long-awaited “Gamma Green” Nike Barkley Posite Max, as well as new images. Just like its previous colorways, most stores are implenting the ticketing procedure for the Gamma Greens. Instead of the usual Wednesday-Thursday ticket pickup schedule, stores have opted to begin ticket procedures today (Sunday, 8/11) through Monday, 8/12. If your ticket is selected, you will be notified via phone on Tuesday, August 13. The Gamma Green Nike Barkley Posite Max is scheduled to release on Wednesday, August 14 at a retail price of $235. They will also be available at 8:00 a.m. online through most major sneaker sites (Nike, Footaction, Eastbay, etc.). If you’d like to get an early jump on the action, they are already available on eBay.

Nike Barkley Posite Max “Gamma Green” Release Info

The Gamma Green Nike Barkley Posite Max, was the first colorway to be unveiled, but it almost looked as if Nike has completely scrapped the design. It turns out that Nike was just saving the best for last, and today, we finally have some release info on this beautiful colorway. They are scheduled to drop on August 17, retailing for the usual price of $235. Featuring a metallic green and black upper, with matching Max Air unit, this colorway is sure to turn heads. Better get your cash ready, as these will definitely fly off shelves.

Here’s some release info on the upcoming  “Phoenix Suns” Nike Barkley Posite Max, which takes inspiration from Sir Charles’ days with the Suns. will release on 5/18/2013. Stores like Footlocker and Footaction will implement the ticketing at select locations starting tomorrow, 5/15 through Thursday, 5/16. This sneaker will also be available online. Nike Barkley Posite Max “Splatter” New Images

Here’s another look at the “Splatter” or Black/Metallic Silver-Gamma Blue Nike Barkley Posite Max. This pair has a metallic silver Foamposite upper, but really stands out thanks to it’s black upper, covered in Gamma Blue splatter marks. Gamma Blue has also been used on the eyelets, laces, and graphics to provide a fluid theme. A much lighter, translucent blue has been used on the sole. The release date for these remains unknown, but will be posted as soon as it becomes available.

Nike Barkley Posite Max – Energy/Fire – Release Info

The release of the Energy/fire, or “76ers” Nike Barkley Posite Max is quickly approaching, so here’s a little info on the release process to make life a little easier. They are scheduled to release on April 20, and will retail for $235. Some stores, mainly Footlocker and Footaction will implement the ticket procedure, similar that used for the more recent Air Jordan releases. Participating stores  will give tickets out on Wednesday April 17 and Thursday April 18. If you ticket is picked, you will receive a call on Friday April 19. In addition to an in-store release, these will also be available online at 8:00 AM EST. If you’d like to secure a pair now, they are currently available in most sizes on eBay.

Nike Barkley Posite Max “Phoenix Suns”

With so many Phoenix Suns-themed colorways, it only seems right for Nike to give the same treatment to it’s latest Barkley sneaker, the Nike Barkley Posite Max. The pair has received a very unique upper, with the Foamposite shell wrapped in a purple over white brick print. Purple also covers the rest of the upper, with the exception of bright orange on the tongue logo, heel tab, and Barkley logo. Orange has also been used on the midsole as well. So far, we don’t have a release date on these, but stay tuned for more in the near future.

Nike Barkley Posite Max – Metallic Silver/Black/Photo Blue

Nike isn’t done with Barkley Posite Max just yet, in fact it looks like they are just getting going. Here’s a look at another colorway to surface. This pair has a Metallic Silver Foamposite shell, mated to a black upper covered with light blue speckles. The eyelets have been molded in light blue as well, while a light blue sole finishes things off. It’s rumored that this sole may be glow-in-the-dark, but we’ve yet to see evidence. Stay tuned for more on this sneaker, including release info.

Just a heads up to remind you guys that tomorrow, March 23 marks the release of the “Eggplant” Nike Barkley Posite Max. This pair has been finished in black with a metallic purple Foamposite upper, finished off with a beautiful glow-in-the-dark sole. This pair probably won’t receive as much hype as the Area 72s, but expect them to go pretty fast. If you’d like to guarantee yourself a pair, there’s already quite a selection on eBay. Officially color-coded BLACK/BLACK, this pair features a dark purple, Eggplant-colored Foamposite upper, matched with black accents. Very similar to the Eggplant Foamposite Ones that released a couple years ago, this pair is sure to go fast when it releases on March 23, even at the retail price of $235. Nike Sportswear “Area 72” Collection

For 2013, Nike is finally bringing back the Rayguns with its upcoming “Area 72” Collection. This time however, the extraterrestrial team is taken its talents to Houston. Created for the this year’s NBA All-Star game, the Area 72 collection includes special Raygun-themed colorways of the Nike Barkley Posite Max, Nike Blazer Mid, Nike Vandal, Nike Lunar Force 1, and Nike Air Force Max 2013. All five pairs will be made available on February 14 at Nike.com and select stores.

Nike Barkley Posite Max “Rayguns”

The Nike Barkley Posite Max is quickly gaining popularity, and now Nike is heating things up even more with this special “Rayguns” release. The Foamposite upper has been covered in black and overlaid with white sports, complemented with pink and and red accents. The usual Barkley symbol has been replaced with a Rayguns logo on both the tongue and heel. What looks like black leather up top is actually 3M material, so you’re guaranteed to break necks whether the sun is up or down. Expect these to drop next month during the NBA All-Star weekend in Houston.

Nike CB34 Foamposite Max – Detailed Images

We’re not even sure about the official name for this sneaker, but we’ve already got some detailed images of the Nike’s Foamposite version of the Nike CB34. What originally looked like a Pine green Foamposite upper is actually more of a “chameleon” upper, with the color appearing blue, green, or purple, relative to the angle of light. Both the tongue and heel feature the Barkley logo (Jumpman without the jump?), and white speckles have been placed on the purple midsole. The underside of the icy clear sole reveals Sir Charles’ infamous “I am not a role model” quote. Stay tuned for release info on this sneaker.

Nike Barkley Posite Max – New Image

Here’s another image of the Nike Barkley Posite Max. Basically a Foamposite version of the Nike Air Max 2 CB ’94, this sneaker should be quite popular with both the Barkley and Foamposite crowds. This colorway sports what looks to be a Dark Pine Green Foamposite upper, matched with black and a light shade of green. We still have very little information on this sneaker, but stay tuned for more soon.
