In case you missed it, Jordan Brand unexpected released the first wave of the Air Jordan 11 Grey Suede, its first premium release of the sneaker. The first stores to release the highly-limited sneaker were Kith Brooklyn and Concepts NYC.

As previously stated, this model is a premium release, and it certainly lives up to that branding.The traditional patent leather and full-grain leather construction has been ditched for a beautiful suede finish, dipped in Cool Grey. This, heavy-duty leather laces have been applied, as well, and seem almost at home with the 21-year-old design. The Jumpman ankle logo has been embroidered in a matching Cool Grey, while the “23” heel logo is completely absent from the sneaker. The usually white midsole remains unchanged, and is mated to a cloudy white outsole, giving the sneaker a super fresh finish. Additional touches include the packaging, which is Cool Grey in color, decorated with a white sole pattern, and Jordan’s number in “AJXI” font.
Another significantly noticeable difference between this release and all other colorways of the Air Jordan 11 is its price tag. Retailing for a whopping $400, the Air Jordan 11 Grey Suede is out of reach for many sneakerheads, but that just made it easier for the purists to obtain. It currently remains unknown where these will drop next, but expect to see shipments in a few more stores in the very near future.
