Here’s a detailed look at one of this year’s most anticipated sneakers: the Air Jordan 13 Playoffs. With the NBA Playoffs preparing to begin in just 11 days, the announcement of this sneaker couldn’t be better. Last seen on stores shelves in 2011, the Playoff 13s are long overdue for a re-release. Thanks to Jordan Brand’s huge efforts on quality improvement, this pair should rival its original 1998 release.
Just like MJ after the regular season, this colorway, takes on an all-business, no nonsense approach. It comes draped in black quilted leather and suede, complemented with metallic gold and red graphics. The midsole in wrapped in black suede as well, finished off with white pods and a bright red outsole. Matching black laces help to complete the sneaker’s stealthy appearance.
Unfortunately, the Air Jordan 13 Playoffs won’t hit stores until after the NBA season. The sneaker has a scheduled release date of June 20, 2017. Expect a retail price of $190.
