If you’ve been following the site for a while, you may remember that back in 2011 (around this same time), images of a sample pair of nubuck suede-covered Air Jordan 3s surfaced. It was rumored that this pair was planned for release, but it somehow never made it to production, as Jordan Brand opted to go with the original leather look.

Fast forward 4 years later, and the sample Nubuck 3s have once again surfaced thanks to Mayor during Sneaker Friends 2014. Featuring a suede upper in place of the leather we’re used to seeing on this classic would obviously get mixed opinions, but it is an interesting change to the beloved colorway. Would you cop if these were released?
