Air Jordan XI Retro Black/Varsity Red-White 2012 – First Look

Even with a barrage of hot sneakers planned for the rest of 2012, the Black/Varsity Red-White Air Jordan 11 is easily the most anticipated release of the year. Tonight we get a first look at the 2012 model. As you can see, the sneaker remains unchanged for the most part, including the fat laces, which are notorious for getting slightly thinner with each release of the XIs.

Just like the previous three AJ XI releases, plastic shoe trees have been included, but unfortunately, it appears that Jordan Brand has decided to skimp out on the XI box that most sneakerheads were quite fond of. You’d think that with a $5 price hike (from $180 to $185), the box would remain. Either way, it’s good to see the return of the “Breds”. The official date has not been announced, but if history tells us anything, put your money on December 22 or 24. From Sneakerhotline.
