Rare Air: Air Jordan XI Pantone 284 (Lasered Version)

A few days ago, we got a look at Jordan Brand’s sample Pantone Air Jordan XIs. Tonight, we a view a the final design, which as you can see, has a lot more personality. While not much has changed from the previous version, a white laser-etched design placed on the patent leather area really brings this sneaker to life. Also, you may notice that the once clear sole has been replaced with a blue-toned one. While the laser-etching may not suit everyone’s tastes, this pair would definitely step up any collection to the next level. From SC.

Rare Air: Air Jordan XI University Blue “Pantone” Samples

You may remember that a while back I posted a pics of Jordan Brand’s Pantone Collection, which included University Blue/White colorways of Air Jordan’s 1-2010. Unfortunately, this collection never received a public release. Here’s an up close look at the Air Jordan XIs from the Pantone Collection. Just like the rest of the lineup, the entire upper has been done in University Blue, with the exception of a white Jumpman logo. A white midsole and icy clear sole add the finishing touches. This sneaker is normally impossible to get a hold of, but right now, this sample pair is currently listed on eBay. If you’re ready to fork up the cash, they can be yours. Here’s the direct link.

Amazing 21-Pair OG Air Jordan Collection on eBay

If you’re looking to take your collection to the next level, there’s no better way than to add a few OGs. They are usually quite difficult to find in decent condition, but eBay seller airalex23 has whopping 21 deadstock pairs of original Air Jordans I-X, all available for auction. They aren’t cheap, though: the first bid has been placed at $9000. These are definitely for the hardcore collectors. Here’s a link to the auction.
