Nike 2015 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection – Official Images

You’ve already seen the upcoming Air Jordan 12 and Air Jordan 13 releases, but here’s an official look at the the 2015 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection in its entirety. The charity’s 12th collection also includes the Nike LeBron XIII, Nike Air Max 90 Premium, Nike Free TR Fit 5, Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski, and Nike Air Max 95 Premium. Continuing tradition, all designs were created with the input of child patients at OSHU Doernbecher Charity Hospital. Here’s some availability information direct from Nike:


The 2015 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection will be available beginning Saturday, November 21, on Nike.com, at select* Nike retail locations across the country and at select Villa** and Shoe Palace*** retail locations, with all proceeds from the sales of the collection benefitting OHSU Doernbecher.

Reminder: Doernbecher Air Jordan X (10) Releases Tomorrow

Don’t forget, tomorrow marks the release of the highly anticipated Doernbecher Air Jordan 10 Retro. Designed by Doernbecher Children’s Hospital patient Daniel Pena, this pair takes inspiration from Daniel’s favorite player LeBron James and his love for sports. The Doernbecher Air Jordan 10 will release tomorrow, November 23 at Nike Georgetown, Nike San Francisco, NIKETOWN New York, Nike Roosevelt Field, NIKETOWN Los Angeles, Nike Lenox, Nike Las Vegas, Nike Portland, Nike Chicago, and Nike Dallas. They will also be available at Nike.com beginning at 8:00 am EDT. At a retail price of only $170 and very limited availability, this sneaker will be extremely difficult to acquire. If you’d like to save yourself the hassle of standing in line or dealing with frozen servers, you can get them now on either eBay.

Air Jordan X (10) Retro Doernbecher “Daniel” Pricing Info

Tonight we have some pricing info on the upcoming Doernbecher Air Jordan 10 Retro, designed by 12-year-old Daniel Pena. Daniel, a hardcore MJ fan, gave this sneaker a black leather base covered with gray camouflage. To keep things “Bulls”, the top portion has received a beautiful red-on-black Elephant Print. Daniel’s initials have been embroidered on the side, while an icy clear and red sole stands out at the bottom. A tire tread graphic has been placed on the heel tab, serving as a tribute to Daniel’s BMX days. The end result is quite easily the most unique Air Jordan 10 ever released. Believe it or not, this pair is currently expected to retail at $170. This comes as a surprise, considering this is a very limited release. Either Jordan Brand is in good holiday spirits, or they’ve got a last minute price hike on these coming. Whatever the case, the Doernbecher 10s are sure to move fast once they release on November 23, 2013.

Air Jordan 5 (V) Retro Doernbecher – First Look

We’ve been speculating over these for the past couple of years, and now the inevitable has finally occurred. Here’s a first look at the upcoming Doernbecher Air Jordan 5 Retro. As with all other Doernbecher releases, The Air Jordan V has received a unique design, created by one of the patients at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The upper has been wrapped in black patent leather, covered with dark gray wording. A black and white midsole keeps the theme going, while an icy clear outsole keeps things looking clean. The finishing touches are added thanks to turquoise lacelocks and the numbers “9” and “31”, which have been embroidered on the heel. Very little is known about this colorway at the moment, but you can expect another update in the near future. Stay tuned.
