Nike Air Max 24/7 Glass Blue

By combing the lower portion the Air Max 97 with the upper of the Air Max 95, Nike has created the Air Max 24/7. Here’s a look at the the latest colorway, which done in Glass Blue, grey and black. I haven’t tried these on in person, but if they’re anything like the models they were based on, they should be the ultimate combination of comfort and styling.

Nike Air Max Lebron VIII “Pre-Heat”

Nike’s latest Lebron sneaker, the Air Max Lebron VIII, made its debut in a very unusual color scheme. This Retro/Black-Pink Flash colorway was released exclusively to the newly-built Miami House of Hoops store. Although it doesn’t really match the team uniform, this colorway is still very Miami-ish. If you’re not in the Miami area, I’ve got good news: these are available in most sizes on ebay.

Air Jordan I Retro High “Banned”

Banned? For those who don’t know the history, the Air Jordan 1 wasn’t always widely accepted by the NBA. When Jordan first wore these during his rookie year, he was immediately slapped with a huge fine for wearing sneakers that didn’t comply with uniform colors. The folks at Nike saw this as excellent marketing strategy, andtold Jordan to continue wearing the sneakers, while they covered the fines. This controversy, combined with MJ’s popularity, caused sales of the Air Jordan I to soar, and helped launch one of the most successful sneaker lines ever.

As a tribute, Jordan Brand is releasing this special version of the Black/Red Air Jordan 1 colorway, which looks very true to the original release. Also, notice the box, which is also similar to the OG Air Jordan 1 box. The main difference is the red “X”, placed on the sides of the box. I’ll keep you guys posted as more info on these becomes available.
