This pair uses a number of greytone colors, starting with light grey on the top, then a darker grey on the bottom and on the toe box, finished off with black on the tonge and midsole. A red Jumpman and a set of white laces and a little more personality to the sneaker. Unfortunately, these will only come in kids sizes. Doesn’t it just suck when they get all the cool colorways? Nike Zoom Kobe VI Lighted Up!

What happens when you have too many Kobes and too much free time? This. A Kobe fan from China decided to light up the insides of the Zoom Kobe VI, giving us almost an x-ray view of the sneaker’s internals. Looking at the pics, you can see the Flywire layer in all of its glory. Kinda weird, but it’s a much better idea that cutting up your shoes, like I tried once (didn’t work out too well).

Nike Air Max 95 Infant Booties

Here’s something for the future sneakerheads. Nike just recently released a set of Air Max 95 booties. If some of you remember, these are just like the Neon ones that came out back in November along with the Air Jordan 1 booties. This time, three more colorways have been released, all resembling classic Air Max 95s. The Grapes are my favorites. These are available now at Finishline.

Rare Air: Air Jordan VIII Josh Howard Player Exclusives

Here’s a pair of Air Jordan VIIIs I bet you you guys have never seen before. This pair was made exclusively for NBA player Josh Howard during the 2007-08 season while playing for the Dallas Mavericks. Designed to match the team’s home uniform, this pair has a mostly white upper, with reflective 3M material that runs along the sides and covers the eyelets. The tongue has been done in navy, with a matching Jumpman symbol. The midsoles are navy and white. Josh Howard’s initials and number were placed on the side, reading “JHO 5”. There’s no telling how many pairs of these were actually produced, but one thing’s for sure, they were all made in size 13, Josh Howard’s size. You can cop this pair on ebay right now. Here’s a link to the auction.

Shortly after the original Nike Air Foamposite One debuted in 1997, pictures of a metallic silver pair surfaced. There were tons of rumors and even a few guys got there hands on samples, but these never saw a release date, except for a Foam Pro version. Well, Nike has proved again that they actually do listen every now and then. On March 19, they will finally be released. The official color scheme is Metallic Pewter/black, but I think these will be more than close enough to please even the purest sneakerheads (I’m stoked). Currently, there are quite a few pairs on ebay. The price is a little higher, but if you how fast Foams go on release day, it might be worth the piece of mind. Here’s the link to the auctions.

Air Jordan VII Retro Bordeaux More Pics!

Here’s yet another batch of Black/Bordeaux Air Jordan VII pics, just to make the wait that much harder. I have to say, I’ve been quite impressed with Jordan Brands recent retro releases, both the Cool Grey XIs and All-Star XIIIs were close to the originals, and the case seems to be the same with the Bordeaux VIIs. They release on 4/16/2011.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI “USC”

Continuing where it left off last year with the Kobe V, Nike has created a special USC version of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI. A similar color scheme has been used as well, using a cardinal red upper, and a yellow swoosh with matching accents and laces. The USC logo has been places on the side, towards the heel. These pics were posted on Twitter by James Dunleavy himself. No word yet on a public release.

Nike continues the Highlighter Pack with this new Nike Air Phenom colorway. They have a black upper, “highlighted” with orange accents, and a white outsole. Nike Dunk High AC Release Tomorrow

A couple of weeks ago, I posted pics of four vintage colorways of the Nike Dunk High AC, an even more old school version of the regular Nike Dunk. Wednesday (Tomorrow, 3/9/2011), they will finally hit stores. All four pairs feature a suede upper in classic colors, and come with pre-yellowed soles to finish off that vintage appearance.

Air Jordan 2011 “Blackout”

Like many of the previous Air Jordan models, the Air Jordan 2011 gets the stealth treatment with the Air Jordan 2011 “Blackout”. The The Blackouts have been draped in black almost from top to bottom, with the exception of the tongue emblems and the icy clear outsole. The all-black layout really does a great job of hiding the lines that many sneakerheads (including myself) complained about. The Blackout Air Jordan 2011 will be available on April 2 (4/2/2011).
