Rare Air: Air Jordan 2011 Oak Hill Academy PE

Take a look at the these Air Jordan 2011 player exclusives, created for Oak Hill Academy to wear. It has a very similar colorway to the Red/White Air Jordan 2011s, but you’ll notice that the fingerprinted area is yellow to match Oak Hill’s uniform. Oak Hill’s logos have been placed on the tongue. Still no word on whether or not these will actually release, but I wouldn’t count on it. One can always dream, though…

Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13 Italy Blue and Sport Red Out Now

For those of you that haven’t made a trip to the mall in the last few days, Jordan just recently released two new colorways of the Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13. The colorway has a mostly white upper, complemented with a black tongue, and a white and Italy blue sole, with matching blue accents. The second colorway reminds me of the Black/Red XIs more than the XIIIs, sporting a black upper and using a combination of mesh and patent leather. A white and red sole completes the Air Jordan XI look. You can cop these at your local store, of if you don’t want to get out of your seat, they are available on Nike.com and eBay. Here’s a link to the eBay listings.

The majority of the upper has been done in wolf grey, followed by black accents and a grey and white sole. Expect to see these in stores in May at a retail price of $125.

Nike Dunk Low Pro SB “Space Jam”

Nike SB gives tribute to the Air Jordan XI Space Jam with this new Dunk Low Pro SB colorway. Just like the classic sneaker, this pair has a black upper that consists of patent leather and mesh, finished off with a white midsole and an icy clear outsole. Of course, in typical Space Jam fashion, the logos have done in concord blue. They took every detail into account, even using fat round laces instead of the usual flat ones. It’s good to see Nike SB can still bring us some creative colorways. Expect to see these at your local skate shop in May.

Air Jordan 2011 – Jordan Brand Classic PEs

With the Jordan Brand Classic basketball game coming up, it’s no surprise to see JB kick out a couple of player exclusives for the East and West teams to wear. Instead of using one of their team sneakers, Jordan Brand decided to go with the best, the Air Jordan 2011. Two colorways were created for players to wear, a red and black colorway to represent the West team, and an Orion blue and black colorway to represent the East. Both colorways have a two-tone appearance on the upper, which does a great job of accentuating the fingerprint, and the entire sneaker as well. If you’d like to get your hands on these, they will be available at House of Hoops locations on April 14, 2011. (4/14/2011).

Nike Air Force 1 Low and Dunk High “White Pack”

Nowadays, you can get sneakers in just about every single color scheme, from solid colors, to combinations, and even prints. Even with all these colorways, if you want to look as clean as possible, there’s nothing better than a pair of all-white kicks. They can be worn with any outfit, in almost any style, any color. It’s like the universal color scheme for a sneaker (except for referees).

A couple of weeks ago, I posted pics of the Nike Dunk High “White Pack”. As it turns out, this pack also includes a pair of all-white Air Force 1 Lows. Both pairs have a completely white upper, finished off with a beautiful, ice clear sole. Expect to see these in late spring or early summer.

Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Homer Simpson” Customs

Some of you may remember that back in ’09, Nike SB released the “Homer Simpson” Dunk, which was inspired by the popular cartoon character. Now, PIMPMYKICKS has taken the Homer Simpson them a step further and applied to the Air Force 1 Mid. They used a combination of white, blue, brown, red, and yellow, basically all of the colors that make up Homer’s attire and face. The lace eyelets have even been painted red  with sprinkles to represent Homer’s favorite snack, doughnuts (“Mmm, doughnuts!) On the heel, you’ll find a picture of the man himself. While this theme might not be original, it’s definitely the best attempt at it yet.
