Air Jordan Spizike – Spike Lee New York Knicks PEs

Anyone who’s familiar with Spike Lee knows he loves the New York Knicks, so it’s no surprise to see Jordan Brand make a couple of New York Knicks colorways of the Spizike. Here’s a pic of Mars himself holding two NYC player exclusives, one in Blue/black-white and and the other in Orange/Black-White. Still no word on if these will actually release, but maybe we’ll see Melo wearing them in the playoffs.

Nike Air Force 1 High Foamposite – White/White

Last fall, we were introduced to the Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite, which combined Nike’s beloved old school sneaker with modern day technology. The first colorway seen was all-black, but now the hybrid returns in white. It has a solid upper, with an icy clear sole, and a chrome lace tab. I have no idea when these will hit the U.S., but you can get them now from the Japanese site Mita Sneakers.

Rare Air: Nike Zoom Kobe V “Throw it Down, Shannon Brown” PE

Check out this pair of rare Nike Zoom Kobe Vs, created for the Black Mamba’s high-flying counterpart, Shannon Brown. Originally, these were planned to receive a debut in this year’s Slam Dunk contest, but Shannon chose to wear a different colorway instead. Completely different from the usual Kobe colorways, this pair has a white and metallic silver upper, blue midsole, and an aquamarine outsole. A red sock liner contrasts the rest of the shoe. A look inside reveals an insole which reads, “Throw it Down Shannon Brown”. Unfortunately, this pair never went into production, making it incredibly difficult to find; however, there are a few promo samples out there. There’s a size 8 pair available now on eBay. Here’s a link to the auction.

Air Jordan VII YOTR – New Pics and Release Info

I’ve already shown you guys tons of pics of the “Year of the Rabbit” Air Jordan VII, but lately, a lot of readers have been asking, “When do they come out”? I’ve been unsure for a while, but tonight, we’ve finally got a confirmation on this. The YOTR Air Jordan 7s will officially drop on May 7. Unlike a lot of special Jordan releases, these won’t hurt your pockets too bad, retailing for $160, only $10 higher compared to the Bordeauxs. Unfortunately, they are expected to be quite limited, so don’t be surprised if you have to stand in a line for these.

Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low “Triple Black”

The Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low gets stealthy with this new “Triple Black” release. It has been completely done in black, from tongue to sole. Nike Air Yeezy 2 – First Look

After the success of the Kanye West’s first signature shoe, the Nike Air Yeezy, it’s no surprise to see another model follow. Here’s a first look at the Nike Air Yeezy 2, seen on Kanye’s feet at Coachella. From the looks of things, they will be very similar in appearance to the Yeezy 1, and probably just as overhyped. Can’t wait to see them in person though…

Air Jordan III Retro “Stealth” New Pics

Last time I posted pics of the  “Stealth” Air Jordan 3s, it was of the GS version. At the time, I was under the impression (and quite disappointed) that these were going to be a kids’ only release. Luckily, it turns out that this is not the case, and these are planned for all sizes. Here is a look at the mens’ version. Expect these to hit stores in the next few months. If you can’t wait, they are already available on Kicks Crew in most sizes.

Air Jordan III Retro GS “Rainbow” Available Now

I posted the Air Jordan III “Rainbow” kids sneaker earlier this month, and as no surprise, they received mixed opinions. Some of you loved the colorful look, while others thought that the laces killed what would have been a good-looking sneaker. Well, love them or hate them, the Rainbow 3s are available for purchase now. You can get them from Extra Butter, and many other stores are starting to receive them as well.

Air Jordan VII Retro Year of the Rabbit (YOTR) Packaging

Last month, we got a first look at the upcoming Year of the Rabbit Air Jordan VIIs, but what about the packaging? After all, the YOTR Air Jordan 2011s come in a nice box, so it would only make sense for Jordan Brand to do something special for the VIIs. Sure enough, they did. The YOTR VIIs will come packaged in a red and gold box like the 2011s, which also very similar to the Levis x Air Jordan I package. Unfortunately, just like the 2011s, no jeans are included, but it’s still very nice to look at.
