If you’re looking for something with more of a monochrome design, take a look at this recently released Nike Air Force 1 Low colorway. This pair has received an anthracite upper, contrasted by white inner panels and a black swoosh. You can get these now at the Kentucky-based store Oneness. If you can’t find them in your area, they are also available online on ebay. Here’s a link to the search results.
Rare Air: Air Jordan XIII Silver Anniversary Sample
While the Air Jordan Silver Anniversary series was short-lived due to poor sales, Jordan Brand did manage to create special samples of each and every Air Jordan model. Here’s a look at the Air Jordan XIII release that never happened. Completely done in white, this pair has received a full-leather upper. The Jumpman on the tongue has been done in a soft grey. Apparently, only a couple pairs of these actually exist. It’s a shame that this model never actually got a public release. From The Closet Collectors.
Nike Air Max 90 Black/Black
Instead of going for all of the bright, flashy Air Max 90 colorways that we’ve seen recently, how about something a little more stealthy? Check out this brand new colorway, which has been completely blacked out from top to bottom. The upper has been done in black suede and nylon, and looks amazing. This colorway will easily work with anything. You can get them now at Premier.
Nike Air Trainer SC II Deep Burgundy/Black-White
The classic Nike Air Trainer SC II keeps the 90s alive with this fresh new colorway. This pair has received a beautiful burgundy upper, done in soft leather, suede, and nylon material. Black and white accents provide a nice contrast, and really help to give this sneaker some personality. You can get these now at Premier for $110.
Air Jordan IV Retro Doernbecher – First Look
Rumors have been floating around for months, so you know it was just a matter of time before pics surfaced. Tonight, we get a first look at the Doernbecher Air Jordan IV. As you can see, this pair has received a number of colors. It has a black nubuck suede base, pieced together with blue stitching and matching blue netting. Aqua tabs have been used to hold the sneaker lime green laces in place, and the midsole has been done in black, lime green, white, and blue.
In addition to the wide array of colors, you’ll also notice an interesting choice of graphics. Similar to the Mars IVs, a silhouette of an afro-headed guy has been placed near the heel, which could be the sneaker’s designer. You’ll also notice arrows on the upper, and last but not least, a Superman logo on the tongue (I hope Nike got the rights from DC Comics for that one). Without a doubt, this is the most colorful Air Jordan 4 ever. While they may not be everyone’s taste, one things for sure- sneakerheads will be scrambling to get their hands on a pair once these release. They are expected to come out sometime in December. Nike Dunk Mid Pro SB – “Dragon Red”
Take a look at this new Dunk Mid SB colorway. Called “Dragon Red”, this pair seems to have received inspiration from the Supreme Dunk Lows from back in the day. Done completely in suede, they have received stealth grey along the profile instead of elephant print, and black on the swoosh and inner panels. The upper has been mated to a white and red sole, creating a perfect match. The Dragon Red Dunks Mids are scheduled to release this month, so if they aren’t available at your store yet, they’re probably on the way. From Sneakerfreaker.
Rare Air: Air Jordan XII Retro Dwayne Wade PEs
It’s been quite common for Jordan Brand to promote the re-release of one of its AJ older models with tons of player exclusive colorways, and for the Air Jordan XII, things are no different. Check out this pair of player exclusive Air Jordan XIIs, made for Dwayne Wade. Created to match the Miami Heat’s home uniform, this pair has received a white and red upper, accentuated with a yellow “Jumpman” tab and “23” on the heel. D-Wade’s name has been embroidered on the side in red. It’s not likely that we’ll see a release for these, but it sure would be nice.
Jordan Spizike “New York Knicks” Orange
A few days ago, we got news that the Blue New York Knicks Spizikes were releasing, and now it appears that the Orange colorways will release as well. Using a similar layout, this pair has received a mostly orange upper, contrasted by black accents and white lace tabs. A black and white midsole adds the finishing touches. Stay tuned for more info on these, including an official release date. Pics from Air Randy.
Nike LeBron IX (9) – China
We can’t have a new LeBron model without a China version, and there’s no way Nike would disappoint us with the Nike LeBron 9. This time, they’ve gone with a primary blue upper, using both woven and metallic material. An orange swoosh and matching accents provide a nice contrast to this incredibly bright sneaker. There’s still no word on the release date yet, but I’ll post it once more information becomes available.
Nike Air Max 90 Grey/Black
If none of the Nike Air Max 90 colorways released so far have piqued your interest, perhaps this hot new colorway will. This pair has received grey suede, black leather, and white accents on the upper and sole. You can get these now at Bows and Arrows.
Air Jordan X Retro Chicago – More Images
Finally we get a detailed look at the highly-anticipated Chicago Air Jordan Xs. A near-perfect reproduction of the original release, this have a white and black upper, complemented with red accents and black and grey laces. Definitely a must-cop for any Jordanhead. They are scheduled to hit stores this January.
Rare Air: Air Jordan XIII Retro Quentin Richardson Away PEs
Earlier this week, we got a look at Quentin Richardson’s Air Jordan XIII player exclusives, created to match the Orlando Magic home uniform. Jordan Brand also created a pair for him to sport during the road games. Unlike the other pair which uses leather on the sides, of the upper, this pair has received black reflective mesh material. Blue suede has been applied to the rest of the upper and midsole, and Q-Rich’s number has been embroidered on the tongue in place of the usual Jumpman. Mr. Richardson might not be the team’s star player, but he’s certainly got the hottest kicks.
Jordan Big Up – Black/Red-White – First Look
Let’s take a first look at Jordan Brand’s latest model, the Big Up. It appears to take inspiration from Air Jordan XI and Nike Air Griffey Max 2 GD, mainly due to the patent leather shape and ribbed design. Also, it uses a full-length Max-Air unit, which should provide excellent cushioning. This particular pair is only a sample, and while there’s no official release date yet, the Jordan Big Up is expected to hit stores this fall, along with a few other colorways.
