Once again giving tribute to the Summit Lake Hornets, LeBron’s first basketball team, Nike has created this beautiful LeBron 9 color scheme. The upper has been done mostly in purple, with aquamarine on the graphics, lining, as well as on the speckled midsole. As you can tell, they are quite reminiscent of the Air Jordan V Grapes. Thanks to Sneaker Freaker, we now have a much more detailed look at the upper “Year of the Dragon” Air Jordan 2012. Created to celebrate the Chinese New Year (January 23), they have received a combination of dark and aqua blue on the upper, with yellow used on the tongue and laces. A dark blue dragon graphic has been placed on the support straps, while a white outsole completes the look. This sneaker will also be incredibly versatile, including two different booties and three different insoles (Fly Through, Fly Around, Fly Over). There’s still no official release date, but I’m guessing that January 23 is definitely a possibility for these.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low goes camo once again, this time with a more stealthy appearance. This pair uses black leather matched with black camo, while the midsole has been done in white. A translucent smoked outsole provides the finishing touches. You can cop these now at Caliroots. This year, we can expect to see a familiar, but different sole on a few of Nike SB’s Dunk releases. On select Dunks, the Vulc sole will be used in favor of the traditional one. In addition Nike’s proven Zoom Air Technology will be used on the insole. Here’s a couple pics of the Dunk with its new sole. What do you think?
Many of you are highly excited for next month’s release of the “Metallic Red” Nike Air Foamposite One, but the “Electrolime” are also planned to release shortly afterwards. Created to represent the Golden State Warriors (they originally drafted Penny), this pair has received a bright yellow metallic upper, complemented with an icy sole. they are scheduled to release on March 17.

Nike’s denim releases are hard to come by, but when they do, they go fast. For their latest “denimized” release, they have chosen the Nike Air Max 90. The majority of the upper has been done in denim, while the swoosh, eyelets, and midsole have been done in Beach, a form of off-white. Beach-colored laces provide a nice match. They are scheduled to release in February, but can be pre-ordered at Crooked Tongues.

Here’s another hot Dunk High colorway for you. Using a Sail Base similar to the Sail/Royal Blue pair we saw a couple of days ago, the upper has been complemented with medium grey, and matched with a medium grey outsole. The overall result is a beautiful neutral color scheme that will certainly get attention. You can cop these now at Titolo.
Check out this hot new Air Jordan V.1 colorway. This time, a white upper has been used, with matching white and wolf grey elephant print on the swoosh. Navy has been used on the sole and graphics, while navy/white laces keep the shoe snuggled to your feet. You can get these in your local stores now.

Tonight, we get even more images of the upcoming Varsity Red/White-Black Nike Air Foamposite One. Scheduled to release on February 4, just 10 days before Valentine’s Day, this sneaker will certainly be a fast seller. After all, who couldn’t resist that metallic red upper and icy clear sole. Nike wants to get its 2012 Air Max 1 lineup off to a good start, so they’ve created this beautiful “Q1 Pack”. The pack features two Air Max 1 colorways. The first pair has been done in grey and blue, with complemented with white on the laces, breathable areas, as well as the midsole. The second pair has a similar layout, except the white areas have been mated with red and dark blue. You can get these now at Afew.

I don’t know the official color scheme or nickname for these, so let’s just call them “Mahogany” for now. The upper has received a mahogany finish, created with a combination of suede, safari fabric, and leather for the swoosh. The white and gum sole provides a nice contrast. They are scheduled to release in the fall.
While not nearly as popular as the Dunk or Air Force 1, the Nike Blazer is another classic basketball-turned-casual sneaker than can easily hold its own. For that reason, Nike continues to give us hot new releases. This Gym Red colorway is the latest to make it past the drawing board. Using the usual suede material, the upper has been done in Gym Red, with white on the swoosh, laces, and sole. This colorway is expected to hit stores in February, making for another hot Valentine’s Day release. you can preorder them now at End for £65.00, or $84.84.
Originally thought to be a spring release, it seems that the Obsidian/Cool Grey-White Air Jordan 1 Phat is already beginning to hit stores. The obsidian leather upper is matched with cool grey on the laces and sock liner, and a white midsole. This makes for a very versatile yet humble color scheme that will go with just about any outfit. They should be hitting your local stores soon, but you can get get them now at Concepts for $105.

Here’s a fresh new colorway of one of Nike’s most recent hits, the Zoom Rookie LWP. This time, the black upper has been surrounded with Anthracite Foamposite material, and and finished off with with an icy sole.
