Nike LeBron 9 “What the LeBron” Teaser

With the Nike LeBron X quickly approaching, it seems Nike plans to give its predecessor, the Nike LeBron 9 a grand finale with the Nike LeBron IX “What the LeBron”. Basically a combination of previous releases with unique design cues as well, this pair will definitely end the model with style. This is only a teaser pic, but expect to see more on these in the very near future. From Justin Leonard.

We finally have detailed pics and info on the “ParaNorman” Nike Air Foamposite and how to obtain a pair. Air Jordan VI Retro “FLOM” Customs by El Cappy

Futura’s original Nike Dunk High SB FLOM (For love or Money) is one of my favorite Dunks of all time. Unfortunately, only 24 pairs produced, all given to the designer’s friends and family. This makes them incredibly difficult to obtain, even if you can afford the $9,000-$16,000 market price.
Instead of trying to obtain a pair, custom designer El Cappy decided to create his own version, using not a Dunk, but an Air Jordan VI as the base. Just like the FLOM Dunks, this pair features many of the world’s various currencies on the upper, surrounded by black leather. “FL” has been placed on the side. While these may never fetch the prices as the original version, this Air Jordan VI tribute to the sneaker is certainly a masterpiece. You can see some of El Cappy’s other customs here.

Nike LeBron X “Floridians” Away

With the Nike LeBron X officially announced by Nike, you should have known that a Miami-based colorway would pop up shortly. Here’s a first (and very detailed) look at the Nike LeBron X “Floridians”, a bit of a follow-up to the LeBron 9 version. Instead of a bright orange upper, this pair uses a more subtle color palette, with black covering the majority of the upper, and hot pink used on the midsole, sock liner, and laces. Orange has been used more strategically, placed only on the outsole, swoosh, and eyelets. An official release date has not been announced, but check back for more info on this beautiful color scheme in the near future. From MS.

Nike Air Foamposite One “ParaNorman”

Ok, so we all know Nike’s co-founder Phil Knight is filthy rich, but many of you are probably unaware that Knight also owns LAIKA, the company that produced Coraline and the upcoming film ParaNorman. To promote the film, Nike has created this special Nike Air Foamposite One colorway. These are only teaser pics, but you can seen that the sneaker sports a dark green upper with a smoky overlay, black liner and lime green graphics. The “ZZZZs” represents the Norman’s (main character) ability to communicate with the dead. There’s no word yet on when or if these will receive a public release, but stay tuned for more.

Nike LeBron 9 “Tony Stark”

Having been a big fan of Iron Man since age 8, seeing this pair of customs really made my day. Created by Mache Customs, this pair takes inspiration from both the man in metal and his company Stark Enterprises. Covered in red and gold, this pair has received a paint job that Iron Man’s armor, right down to the nuts and bolts. Black accents add a little more style, and the Stark Enterprises logo on the heel really helps to add some personality. Mr. Stark would be proud.
