Air Jordan III Retro “Doernbecher” Re-release Info
If the re-release of several Doernbecher models a couple of weeks ago wasn’t enough, Jordan Brand has decided to take things a step further by bringing back of its beloved Doernbecher classics. In less than a week, we’ll have another chance to cop the Air Jordan III Doernbecher. Originally released in 2010, the Doernbecher IIIs were designed by Cole Johanson, and like all Doernbecher models, its proceeds will go to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The Air Jordan III Doernbecher will release on Saturday, July 20, available at Niketown New York, Niketown Georgetown, Niketown Chicago, Niketown Roosevelt Field, Niketown Portland, Niketown San Francisco, Niketown Dallas, Niketown Los Angeles, Niketown Lenox, Niketown Las Vegas, as well as online. Retail price is $160, and purchases will be limited to one pair per person. Sizes available will be 7-13, 14, and 15.

Nike Kobe VIII (8) “Milk Snake”
Even with the 2012-13 NBA season over, Nike is still churning out hot colorways of the Nike Kobe VIII. Kobe was recently spotted wearing this new “Milk Snake” design at a basketball camp. As the name implies, this design takes inspiration from the Eastern Milk Snake. It features this year’s snake design in red, white and black, patterned to matched the snake’s actual skin. A matching set of red laces have been used, while a gold tongue logo adds the finishing touches. This colorway is scheduled to drop on July 27, retailing for $140.

Reebok Answer 1 “Year of the Snake”
Reebok gets in on the Chinese New Year celebration with the Reebok Answer 1 “Year of the Snake”. While the sneaker is primarily wrapped in black leather, homage to the Chinese New Year is paid thanks to metallic iridescent graphics that change from green to purple. The release date has not been announced yet, but they are expected to drop sometime in the 4th quarter of the year. Check back for an update on these soon.
Air Jordan III Retro “Powder Blue” First Look
Jordan Braand has been doing a lot of early planning lately, as we’ve already seen a number of releases planned for its 2014 lineup. It seems that a brand new of colorway of the Air Jordan III has been planned for next year as well. Here’s a look at the “Powder Blue” Air Jordan 3 Retro. As you can see, the name alone gives a perfect description of the sneaker. Much of the upper has been wrapped in a bright blue suede, contrasted with black accents. Nike Air Max 95 – Armory Navy/Blue
Here’s another hot Nike Air Max 95 colorway from overseas. This pair has received dark navy suede, complemented with a grey strip at the top. To provide some contrast to the dark color palette, a bright blue has been used on the eyelets, graphics and partially on the outsole. It looks like the Armory Navy Air Max 95 won’t be hitting the U.S., but you can cop a pair now at JD Sports.
Rumor: Air Jordan 6 (VI) Sport Blue (September Blue) to Return in 2014
As if we don’t have enough releases on our “to cop” list, the rumor mill brings word of yet another possible hot release. Word on the street is that 2014 will see a release of the “Sport Blue” or more commonly known as the “September Blue” (incorrect interpretation of the box abbreviation) Air Jordan VI. Not seen since its 1991 release, this pair is a grail for many collectors (including myself). This isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumors of the this colorway’s return, so let’s not get too excited just yet. Stay tuned for an update to confirm or deny this rumor in the near future.
Reminder: Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Shadow” Releases Today
In addition to the Toro Red IVs, Jordan Brand is also dropping the “Shadow’ Air Jordan 1 Retro OG High today. Unlike the Phat version released in ’09, this pair stays true to the original 1985 release, featuring a full High top cut and Nike Air logo. Its black and grey color scheme makes for a versatile design that will go well with any outfit you can imagine. This colorway will only be available at select stores, but you can get them online at shops like Nike.com at 7 PM CST. Just a reminder that tomorrow marks the release of the “Toro” Air Jordan IV Retro. Featuring a bright red upper with black and grey accents, this pair is one of the brightest Air Jordan 4 releases yet, and will definitely move quickly when it drops tomorrow. Most stores used the “ticketing procedure”, but some shops have chosen to release these on a first come, first serve basis. They will also be able on Nike.com and most other major sneaker sites. Nike takes the Black Mamba theme to the next level with this upcoming Nike Kobe 8 “Lifestyle” colorway. Nicknamed “Python”, this pair features a snakeskin wrap that gets about as realistic as possible without alerting PETA. It seems Jordan Brand has yet another all-new Air Jordan 5 colorway planned for release, with a very special theme. This pair will take inspiration from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, the show responsible for making Will Smith a household name. Considering that he 5s were frequently seen on Will Smith’s feet during the show’s first season, this launch comes as no surprise. So far, pictures have not yet been revealed, but with the color scheme Cool Grey/Court Purple–Game Royal–Club Pink, don’t expect anything subtle. They are expected to drop sometime in October.
