Air 23 – Air Jordan Release Dates, Foamposite, Air Max, and More

For those of you that missed out on Nike’s surprise release of the Nike Kyrie 3 Samurai colorway, the time for redemption is approaching. Originally released on December 25 as part of Nike’s 12 Soles Collection, this colorway caught many sneakerheads off guard. This was partly due to the fact that many were already content with the release of December’s previous releases, like the Space Jam 11s.

Sporting a dark obsidian base, the sneaker utilizes a silver swoosh, which has been given an edge to resemble a samurai’s blade. Red graphics represent the bloody end result of sing that blade, with matching red used on the sock liner. The tongue logo has been molded in silver as well. Obsidian laces provide the sneaker with a tight fit, while a white and obsidian sole keeps the theme consistent. The folks at Nike have done a great job of subtly applying a violent theme in a way that still appeals to the masses.

The Nike Kyrie 3 Samurai will once again release on January 26, retailing for $120. This time, you can expect much wider availability, and less hype to contend with now that the holidays are over. If that’s too long of a wait for you, you can already find most sizes on eBay for a reasonable price.
