Nike SB is kicking summer off right with this all new Dunk High colorway. Using a combination of perforated leather and nubuck suede, this pair has a mostly black upper, contrasted by and orange toe an outsole. Looking at the color scheme, I figured this pair would be a Halloween release, but actually they are scheduled to hit skate shops in June, so be on the lookout.
If you’re looking for some new head turners, check out the upcoming Nike Dunk “Patchwork” pack. The pack, which includes two colorways, uses square patches which have been placed around the entire shoe.
More Denim Dunks. This pair uses a dark denim fabric, along with a white/mint plaid on the panels. The sneaker is finished off with and orange swoosh and sock liner. Yeah, I know, this pair isn’t for everyone, but I guess it’s always nice to have more options.
The guys at Diversitile have just created this awesome Medusa-themed Dunk High, and with the recent release of Clash of the Titans, their timing couldn’t be better. A number of detailed have been added to the stone-colored sneaker, including medusa’s face and snake hair on the on the side, and cracks on the midsole. A little color has been added with the use of a red swoosh and red lining, which perfectly matches Medusa’s evil stare. To top things off, the box features Medusa’s head on the top, surrounded by stone. Also, metal borders have been placed on all of the box’s corners. Way to go guys.
Here’s a first look at the Iron Man Dunk SB, which gives tribute to my favorite red and gold-armored superhero. It couldn’t be a better time for these, as Iron Man 2 is scheduled to hit theaters in just a month. This colorway represents metal head perfectly, using a dark and medium red upper, finished off with a black and gold patent leather swoosh. No word on the official release date for these yet, but stayed tuned for more. I just hope they make a pair for War Machine, too.
If you’re for something a little more colorful, take a look at this beautiful pair of Dunks. Using a combination of blue, green, yellow, and brown, Nike has placed a unique gradient pattern on this sneaker. To add a little sanity to the gradient madness, white panels were used, along with a silver swoosh. You can cop these at TheGoodWillOut.
Here’s a little something for the Lakers fans. This new Nike Dunk Supreme colorway has a black and purple mesh upper, with yellow laces and a matching swoosh, topped off with a white and brown sole. You should be able to find these now at select stores.
As part of its University Pack, Nike has created Dunk models to represent North Carolina and Syracuse. The first pair is for UNC, and has a light blue and white upper with navy strings. A similar color pattern has been used on the Syracuse Dunks, except orange has been used instead of white, and you’ll find blue laces. Both colorways are available now at Caliroots as well as ebay.
Here’s some new pics of the DJ AM Nike Dunk Highs, created to represent the west in the DJ AM – DJ Premier Pack. They are officially scheduled to hit stores on Saturday, but there’s already a huge selection on ebay. You can see the listings here.
Here’s an early look at a couple of Dunk Highs planned for release in February. As you can see, the two pairs are basically each other’s opposite. Both pairs have somewhat of an Olympic theme going on. The first pair is navy and white with gold laces, and a matching gold and red midsole. The second pair has been reversed with a gold and white upper, and navy laces. Gold or navy, both are pretty sick.
Like comic books? Then you’ll love these. Featuring a yellow boom on the side similar to those seen in the comics, this pair has a blue and black upper, with white eyelets, and red laces. Expect to see the boom Dunks later this month.
If you used to (or still do) watch the Cosby Show, you probably remember all of those flashy sweaters worn by Cliff Huxtable. Yeah, sometimes they made him look like a peacock, but for the 80s they were incredibly stylish, and I have to admit, I’ve always wanted one. Well, Nike remembers them as well, and they’ve incorporated those sweater designs into one of their latest Dunks.
The Huxtable Dunks have a complex color scheme, using a number of different sweater fabrics, contrasted by white panels on the side, heel, and toebox. These will hit stores sometime next year.
If you remember, last summer, I posted pics of the Nike Dunk High Urban Haze, which featured an olive upper, and a speckled midsole. If you’ve been looking for these, they’re finally available, and you can even cop them on ebay. You can go directly to the search here.
If you’ve been following my posts, I’m sure that you’re more than aware of the Nike Dunk East/West Rivalry pack, which features a number of different Nike Dunk and Air Force 1 colorways. Now the pack has gotten our favorite DJs involved, DJ Premier and the late DJ AM. On January 9, a sneaker for each will be released.
First up is the DJ AM (west) colorway, which has a black, orange, and grey color scheme, with a white midsole. Although there are no actual pics of the DJ Premier (east) pair, but there is an artist sketch. I have provided a list of the stores that will carry the East and West DJ colorways.
