New Balance has advantage of the entire color wheel with their New Balance 574 “Color Pack”. The pack, which includes four colorways, gives you the choice red, yellow, green, or blue. All four colorways feature a suede upper. Currently the Color Pack is only available overseas at stores like Mita in Japan, but they are expected to release in the U.S. in the near future. Check out this fresh New Balance pack, created as a collaboration between Sneakersnstuff and Milkcrate Athletics. The pack includes two different colorways, both very different in style. The first colorway is perfect for Easter, using a bright pastel color palette, which includes blue, lavender, pink, yellow and white. If you’re looking for something a little more subtle, then the alternate pair might suit you tastes. It has a mostly grey upper, with white on the toe box and ankle area. Next year marks the Chinese Year of the Dragon, and New Balance is helping to celebrate it with the 574 Dragon Pack. The pack includes eight different color schemes, with Red, Yellow, and Black releasing first. A gold color scheme will release to select shops in Asia, while the other four will be display-only models, made as part of a collaboration with other shops (Freshness). For you New Balance fans, here’s another look at the Paul Bunyan-inspired New Balance 574s. For those who missed the last post, they were created as pair of New Balance’s “Tall Tales” pack, they have a brown suede and tan mesh upper, with red and white accents. You can get these now at Concepts.
New Balance takes us back to our childhood with this fresh 574PB release. Created as part of the “Tall Tales” pack, this pair has been inspired by the super lumberjack Paul Bunyan. It sports a brown nubuck upper, with light tan mesh on the toebox and ankle area. White and red accents add an additional touch, along with a pair of red laces. They are available now at Corporate.
Check out this special pair of New Balance 574s, created to celebrate the New York City Marathon, which was just held on November 6, 2011. They have a yellow and black upper, constructed of nubuck suede and mesh material. They will be sold exclusively at the New Balance store in New York City.
