It seems we’ve seen the Air Jordan I in every solid colorway except for purple. Until now, that is. Jordan Brand has given the Phat Low 1s the “Grape” treatment with its latest pair. It has a a completely grape upper, upholstered in nubuck suede, and finished off with a black swoosh, midsole, and tongue. You should expect to see these in July.

This weekend, Jordan Brand will release he Air Jordan I Phat Low Derek Jeter. Featuring a white canvas upper, this pair has navy contrast stitching and gold laces. On the toe, you’ll see 27 tally marks, counting the Yankees’ 27 World Series championships. Also notice the “2” tongue tab, Jeter’s number. Don’t sleep on this hot colorway. If you can’t get them in your area, there’s quite a few pair on ebay. You can search here.
Here’s yet another colorway of the Air Jordan I Retro PHAT, just released last week. This colorway kinda reminds me of the ocean, with its blue upper, surrounded by marine blue panels. You can get these now on Nike.com. There’s also quite a few on ebay as well.
Take a look at the upcoming “Future Sole” Air Jordan I Retro, a special colroway created for Nike’s Future Sole competition. This pair has a mostly off-white upper, followed by a white swoosh, and red sole. The tongue, sock liner, laces and classic Air Jordan logo have been done in black. These really remind me of the Air Jordan 1 Retro Hares, for obvious reasons.
Just a heads up to let you guys know that two new colorways of the Air Jordan I Retro PHAT are now available. The first colorway has been done in a solid royal blue, from top to bottom, with a white sockliner. If you’re not into blue, maybe you’ll like the second pair, which has a very similar scheme, except in red. Both pairs have perforated uppers, with a pattern similar to that seen on the Air Jordan XX3. You can cop both pairs now on ebay. You can go to the listings here.
If you’ve been waiting on the Urban Haze/Dark Army Air Jordan 1s, I just wanted let everyone know that they are now available online, and can be purchased online at Proper.
Jordan Brand will continue to bring us more Air Jordan 1 colorways in 2010, including this all-new Obsidian/Cerulean pair. It has a dark navy upper, white midsole, and a cerulean-colored outsole, along with a matching sockliner. I’ve been hoping for a navy pair of AJ1s for a while, so I’m quite happy to see these.

If you like the Jordan Alpha 1, then you’ll love the news I have today. Next year, Jordan Brand will add the Alpha 1s to Nike’s iD program, allowing you to create your own color scheme. Currently, Jordan Brand is holding a design contest for its Flight Club members, and will award 23 pairs of Alpha 1 iDs to its best designers. I’ve posted some pics of a few that I made. Yeah, I got skills : p. You can try it out for yourself here.
Some of you may remember my June post about the planned Air Jordan Alpha I, a remake of the classic Air Jordan 1 sneaker. The Alphas have received a full-length zoom air unit, Phylon midsole, and a perforated upper, allowing them to meet the demands of today’s athlete. Today, I’ve got some detailed pics of the black/varsity red-white colorway, which are scheduled to hit shelves on New Year’s Day.

If you’re a Jordanhead who also happens to be a Houston Rockets fan, this Saturday is your day. This weekend, four Houston Rockets-inspired colorways will hit shelves. The release will include two Air Jordan 1 Retro colorways, an Air Jordan 13 Fusion, as well as an Air Jordan IV Fusion.
For those of you who were in the game when the Air Jordan XVII first released, you probably remember the suitcase that came with it. Sure, it looked like one of those suitcases used during the big drug deals scenes in mob movies, but it had style, and was a helluva way to store your kicks. Well, Jordan Brand has decided to bring back the suitcase as part of its packaging for the Air Jordan 1 25th Anniversary. They’ll come with the same case included with the original White/College Blue-Black 17s, including the inside padding. Not sure how much this will bump up the price, but it sure is worth it.
After almost nine years, Jordan Brand has finally decided to bring back the Air Jordan 1 Retro in its metallic silver colorway. This pair features a higher cut than the 2001 release, and judging from the pics, the metallic silver areas use a shiner, more rougher material. No word on the official release date yet.
Wow, it must be metallic day, first the Copper Foam Ones, and now these Metallic Zinc Air Jordan 1s. One this pair, you’ll find a completely zinc-colored metallic upper, grey strings, and the traditional white sole. You can get these now at Kix Files.
By combining Air Jordans I and XX, Jordan Brand has come up with this interesting pair of Air Jordan 1 Retros. It has a white patent leather upper, red at the top, with a black heel and outsole. Lasered on the the side, you’ll find the infamous “Jordan Code,” behind a transparent swoosh. These bad boys will hit shelves sometime next year.
