Spike Lee once again lends Jordan Brand some inspiration with this upcoming “40 Acres and a Mule” Air Jordan 6 colorway. The sneaker uses design cues from Mr. Blackmon’s production company of the same name, which can be seen in the sneaker’s lining. More importantly, the sneaker features an upper that appears to have been dipped in bright red, using a combination of both full grain leather and suede. Black and green have been used on the tongue and heel tab, while a white and icy clear sole does the rest. This colorway is expected to release in the spring of 2015, but judging from the colors, a Christmas release seems much more likely. Stay tuned for an update on this beautiful colorway.
