It seems just about every year, the folks at Nike SB manage to give us a hot new all-black Nike Dunk Low release. 2014 is no different. Special detail has been paid to this year’s version, which features a black suede upper overlaid with a shiny black faux snakeskin swoosh and heel logo. The bottom is contructed of a matching black midsole followed by a gum outsole, all held in place with black stitching. This colorway hits stores later this month, retailing for $85.

From a first look, this pair appears to have just a plain black upper, but when exposed to bright light, its true form is revealed. Nike Li’l Penny Posite “Eggplant” First Look

Even with so many colorways produced, the “Eggplant” Nike Air Foamposite One remains sneaker’s most popular colorways, so it only seems natural for the folks at Nike to create a similar design for the Nike Li’l Penny Posite. The sneaker’s black base has has been overlaid with purple pearlescent Foamposite panels, with together with a set of black and white dotted laces. Matching purple graphics and an icy clear sole add perfection to the design. Release info has not yet been announced, but keep checking back for an update in the near future.

The Nike Air Max Lunar 1 strays away from the usual vibrant color schemes we’ve seen so far for this much darker Black/Black-Dark Grey release. Nike Air Max 95 “Poison Green”

The upper is usually the center of attention on most Nike Air Max 95 releases, but for this “Poison Green” release, the midsole serves as the main attraction. The upper has received the typical grey-to-anthracite gradient pattern, overlaid with beautiful Poison green graphics and black and white dotted laces. Things get more exciting as you move down the to the midsole, which has been coated in a beautiful Poison Green, finished off with a transparent Max Air unit. The official release date for this colorway has not been announced and it remains uncertain if they will hit the U.S., but it looks like they will be available through Mita Sneakers.

Nike Air Max 95 “Challenge Red”

Some sneakers seem to lose popularity after the colorways begin to pile up, but this is not the case with the Nike Air Max 95. It seems the more releases we get, the more we want, and Nike is eager to please. This new release makes use of the traditional grey gradient pattern, using a combination of Wolf, Cool, and Dark Grey, finished off with black at the top. The eyelets have been dipped in Challenge Red, joined with matching graphics. A set of black and white laces have been incorporated as well. This colorway is available now at Nike.com for $160.

Air Jordan VI (6) Retro “Spizike” Release Details

For all of those looking to cop the “Spizike” Air Jordan 6 Retro next weekend, here’s some release details to help make it a little easier. They are officially scheduled to hit stores on August 9, but many stores like Footlocker and Footaction will implement the ticketing procedures. Tickets will be given out at participating stores starting Monday, August 4 through Tuesday, August 5. Selected ticket holders will be notified via phone on Wednesday August 6, or Thursday, August 7. Other chains such as Finish Line will release the Spizike VIs on release day on a first come, first serve basis. Additionally, most sites, including Nike.com and Eastbay.com will have this release available online beginning at 8:00 a.m. EDT on August 9.

Due to the hype surrounding this release, obtaining a pair maybe quite difficult. If you’d like to avoid the lines and stress, you can purchase them now on eBay. Here’s a direct link to the listings.

Air Jordan 11 (XI) “Black Leather” Prototype

As with any new sneaker design, the Air Jordan XI went through a number of changes before it went into production. Thanks to Randy Fernandez, we now have a look at the infamous sneaker in one of its early stages. With the exception of suede ribs in place of the traditional nylon ones, the upper remains almost identical. The sole is very different however, utilizing a more curved a appearance, which also causes the toe to point upwards at a seemingly uncomfortable angle. It’s still a nice sneaker, but there’s a good chance that the Air Jordan 11 may not have had the same success had the final version turned out this way.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 – Black /Dark Concord-Hyper Jade-Metallic Silver

Nike is finally starting to get more creative with the Nike Air Griffey Max 1, and with releases like this one, it’s definitely a good thing. This pair comes close to having a Miami Nights theme, featuring a black upper overlaid with a pink and jade print.
