Nike Kobe 9 Elite “What The” Official Images and Release Info

Nike just released official images of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite “What The”, the latest in its popular multicolored sneaker series. Just like previous What The sneakers, The Nike Kobe 9 Elite What The incorporates color and design cues from previous Kobe 9 releases, with many identified on the backside of the tongue. Using a predominantly white base, this sneaker sports a pastel color palette, including light green, blue and orange. A green and 3M swoosh stands out proudly on the side, while a softly-speckled midsole does the rest. The Nike Kobe 9 Elite “What The” is scheduled to hit stores on January 10, 2015.

New Balance M991 “American Painters” – Burgundy / Grey

Following up on the success of its Made in USA collection New Balance gives us another American-themed lineup with the “American Painters” collection. Taking inspiration from some of the U.S.’s most iconic painters, this collection sports a number of classic color palettes. One such pair is this Burgundy/Grey New Balance M991 colorway. Sporting a primarily suede upper with mesh panels, this pair has been wrapped in burgundy with navy accents, perfectly contrasted with a set of grey laces and matching lining. Jordan Ultimate Gift of Flight Pack – Official Images, Release Date

If tomorrow’s release of the “Legend Blue” Air Jordan 11 isn’t enough for you, Jordan Brand has also announced information for another highly-anticipated release: The Jordan Ultimate Gift of Flight Pack. This pack not only comes with a variation of Jordan Brand’s “Pantone” Air Jordan XI, but it also comes with a special White/Legend Blue Air Jordan XX9 colorway. They are scheduled to release on December 23, retailing for the hefty but expected price of $500. Availability is limited to select stores (ticketing procedures implemented). They will also be available on Nike.com 12/23, beginning at 8:00 am EST. will release Only set three days apart from the Legend Blue 11s (as well as many others), that doesn’t leave much time for the checkbook to recover. Thank goodness for credit cards.

Nike Kobe X – Purple / Black

With the last few releases of the Nike Kobe 9 dropping, Nike is finally gearing up for the Black Mamba’s next sneaker, the Nike Kobe 10. This model ditches the Flyknit material for layered mesh, which should offer improved breathability without sacrificing stability yet still remaining lightweight, a feature that Kobe sneaker’s have been widely known for. Considering Kobe’s long and loyal history with the Lakers, this purple pair is quite suitable for a first release. Nike Kobe 9 EM “Valiant Red” – Images, Release Info

The Nike Kobe 9 EM receives its most detailed design yet with this upcoming “Valiant Red” release. The majority of the upper has received an extremely intricate, crimson-toned pattern, similar to what you would see on designer dress shirts. Orange eyelets hold the laces in place, while metallic gold graphics provide a perfect match to the flashy colorway. This pair may be a bit too fancy for most, but it’s certainly a unique look.  The Valiant Red/Bright Crimson-Metallic Gold Nike Kobe IX EM is slated for a January 3, 2015 release.
