Taking inspiration from the Chicago Bulls’ record-setting 95-96 championship season, this colorway sports a mostly black upper, swapping the usual cordura for a full leather look, tongue included. Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, Familia Skate Shop has teamed up with Nike SB to create an all-Dunk High SB design. Called the “Blue Ox”, this colorway takes inspiration from the tall tale of lumberjack Paul Bunyan and his mighty blue-colored pet ox. The sneaker consists of a textured blue leather and matching blue suede at the rear, contrasted with bright white, which has been applied to the toe box, tongue, and laces. The swoosh is constructed of yellow leather, while a red and black flannel-like pattern is used for the lining. A beautiful ox and cross-axe graphic has been embroidered on the side to provide the finishing touches. You’ll be able to get these at Familia beginning June 27.
Not seen since its original 2008 release, the Air Jordan XX3 is finally returning, and in an all-new colorway. Inactive NBA player Nate Robinson recently gave us a first look at the of the “Chicago” Air Jordan 23, which as expected from the name, takes inspiration from the Chicago Bulls uniform. The upper has been primarily wrapped in red leather with matching lining overlaid with black dots, while a transparent red midsole is mated to a gum yellow outsole. White stitching holds the sneaker together, with “CHI” embroidered in black at the rear. Very little is known about this sneaker at the moment, but expect an update shortly.
