Nike LeBron 13 “Black History Month”

We’re still over three months away from February, but Nike is already gearing up for Black History Month 2016, starting with the Nike LeBron XIII. This year’s model sports a mostly black Hyperfuse upper with carbon print, accentuated with a deep purple applied to the eyelets, heel tab, and shank plate. A metallic gold coin on the tongue and gold-lined swoosh provide some extra flair and help to complete the design. An official release date for Nike LeBron 13 BHM has not yet been announced, but expect a February 2016 release.

Air Jordan 12 Doernbecher – Images, Auction Info

The Air Jordan 12 finally joins the Doernbecher lineup. To celebrate the 12th anniversary of the Doernbecher Freestyle Program, Mark smith has designed a limited 12-pair run of the sneaker, each featuring unique concept sketches from legendary Air Jordan designer Tinker Hatfield. Each pair comes enclosed in a box printed with design cues from Tinker, with Mark and Tinker’s autographed placed on the shoe.

Auctioning for the first pair began on October 23, with the remaining pairs going to auction starting today, October 24.

We first got a look at the Nike Air Max 95 “Wheat” back in July, but now they have finally hit stores. Constructed of leather and mesh, it utilizes a number of earth tones, including Bronze and Bamboo on the upper, accentuated with Baroque Brown, which is applied to the graphics, eyelets, and laces. Matching tan and brown laces blend in nicely, helping to create a sneaker that perfectly represents the color-changing fall season.

Air Jordan Spike 40 – White / Fire Red-Black

November brings us another hot colorway of Spike Lee’s latest Jordan Brand sneaker, the Air Jordan Spike 40. This upcoming design comes equipped with a mostly white upper with black lining and Fire Red graphics. Additional details include Fire Red Mars Blackmon lace locks and red speckles applied over the sneaker’s white midsole. The outsole is molded in dark purple.

Jordan Spike 40 – Game Royal / Total Orange

Spike Lee has always been an important part of Jordan Brand, so it comes as no surprise to see yet another sneaker dedicated to the successful director and producer. Called the Jordan Spike 40, this new model pays tribute to Spike Lee’s production company, 40 Acres and a Mule.

This particular colorway is themed after Spike’s favorite team, the New York Knicks. It comes equipped with a Game Royal upper contrasted with orange graphics and a matching lace lock that resembles Mars Blackmon’s likeness. a A black and white speckled midsole separates the the upper from a translucent Game Royal outsole. Michael J. Fox Tries Out the Auto-Lacing Nike Mag **Video**

As promised by Tinker Hatfield four years ago, Nike has successfully developed a self-lacing version of the Nike Air Mag. What better person to test the sneaker out than Marty McFly himself? Released yesterday, here’s a first look at Michael J. Fox testing the sneaker’s auto-lacing feature out. While details on the sneaker’s self-lacing feature have not been given, it sounds as if each sneaker is operated by some type of actuator, connected to the laces.

It may have taken 26 years, but this is not only an incredible feat for Nike, but for the sneaker industry as a whole. Hopefully after these release, this feature will be incorporated into other sneakers.

Don’t expect to get the Nike Mag in stores, however. According to Nike, “The 2015 Nike Mag is a limited edition release. It will only be available via auction, with all proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. The specific details on the auctions will be posted to Nike News and via Twitter @Nike in spring 2016.”

Release Date and More images of the Air Jordan 6 “Maroon”

Here’s yet another look at the upcoming Air Jordan 6 Maroon. A long awaited release, the timing couldn’t be better for this OG colorway, with Jordan Brand’s retro quality at the best we’ve seen in many years. Utilizing a mostly white base with Maroon accents and graphics, this pair proves that simple works best. Of course, don’t forget the icy clear sole.

The Air Jordan VI Maroon is scheduled to hit stores on December 5. Unfortunately, it will also succumb to Jordan Brand’s next price hike to $220. Considering that many sneakerheads have been waiting 20+ years for this re-release, don’t the extra charge to slow down sales. One of the most creative Foamposite One designs to date has been saved exclusively for the little ones. Nike LeBron 13 “Halloween”

Using the Nike LeBron 13 as a canvas, Nike has created the perfect sneaker for slasher film fans, and just in time for Halloween. It starts with a simple white base with metallic silver accents. The bottom takes on a more violent theme, thanks to the application of a bright red splatter pattern on the midsole and a portion of the icy clear outsole, clearly resembling blood. A similar pattern has been placed on the lace tips as well. A black and red swoosh provides the finishing touches to the gory design.

An official release date has not been announced as of yet, but expect the sneaker to drop sometime closer to Halloween.

Nike Women’s Air Max 2016 – Copa / Black-Blue Lagoon

2015 isn’t quite over yet, but Nike is already making plans to release the newest version of its latest premier Air Max sneaker, the Nike Air Max 2016. Once again sporting a full Flyknit upper supported by Dynamic Flywire technology, this model is a slight, yet progressive upgrade to the beloved series. This particular women’s colorway sports a Copa and Blue Lagoon color combo, complemented with purple lining and black accents. This pair will hit stores long with several additional colorways beginning November 19. The Air Max 2016 will retain the $190 price tag of last year’s model.
