Rare Air: Air Jordan XI Low Womens Unreleased Sample

Today, I’ve got a pair of never-before-seen Air Jordan XI Retro Lows to show you guys. This colorway has a bit of a jungle theme to it, with a white upper and green and yellow snakeskin, followed by a light yellow sockliner. This pair was originally planned for release in 2007 along with the other retro colorways, was scrapped for one reason or another. It’s probably a good thing, considering that the other XI Low colorways didn’t exactly have stellar sales, as they sat on store shelves for many months after their release.

Nike Air Force 1 3M Snakeskin

Nike has given its Air Force 1 sneaker the snakeskin treatment with this all-new colorway. It has a 3M overlay, with black leather on the toebox, side, and heel. The swoosh have been done in snakeskin leather. It is topped off by a white and black midsole. These should already be available in a few select stores.

Rare Air: Air Jordan 12.5 Eddie Jones Player Exclusive

Check out this pair of Air Jordan 12.5s, created for Eddie Jones to wear during the 2007-08 NBA season, in his brief stint (and final season) with the Dallas Mavericks. This pair has a white upper, with a blue and green sole, and blue contrast stitching along the ribs. On the tongue, you’ll Find Eddie Jones’ name and number embroidered in green.

Inspired by the Grape Air Jordan Vs, Jordan Brand has created an Air Jordan Sixty Plus model of the same color. This pair has a white leather upper, with grape and emerald  on both the tongue and midsole, and don’t forget about the icey clear outsole. This colorway is already available in Asia, but should be in the states in the near future.

Air Jordan XI Retro Sample White/Metallic Silver

A while ago, I posted a few pics of the white/metallic silver Air Jordan XI Retro, which is planned for release as part of the Air Jordan 25th Anniversary pack. Today, I’ve got a few more pics, thanks to Kinstor. As with the DMP XIs, Jordan Brand has did away with the fat laces. Also, you’ll notice that the leather used on the heel has a more “pebble-like” texture compared to previous XI models. Yeah, it sucks, but I’m sure those icy soles are more than enough to keep most of us satisfied.

Nike Zoom Kobe V “Bruce Lee Enter the Dragon”

Today I’ve got pics of a really awesome pair of Kobe Vs. Just as the title says, this pair takes inspiration from Bruce Lee’s films “Enter the Dragon” and “Game of Death.” It features a black and yellow color scheme, similar to the jumpsuit worn by Bruce Lee in Game of Death, and the claw mark at the front represents Lee’s scars from his battle with Han in the mirror room in Enter the Dragon. For those who haven’t seen the film, things didn’t turn out so well for Han once Bruce finally got a hold of him. You can get these now at Marqueesole.

Expansion x Mita x New Balance CM820

Mita Sneakers has teamed up with New Balance to create yet another hot release. This pair has a black, pink and light blue upper, with yellow designs on the toebox, heel and tongue. 3M reflective material has been used on the logo and strip running across the heel. You’ll also find a replica of a New York City transit token and an EXPANSION shoe lace tag on each shoe. Expect to see this pair later this month.

Jordan Spiz’ike Boot Black/Yellow

Here’s another pair of the Jordan Spiz’ike Boots, this time a much brighter scheme. This pair has an all-black upper, with a yellow sockliner. To add some pizzazz, a speckled midsole has been used, which fades from yellow to black. Also, grey speckles have been used on the toe area, as well as yellow contrast stitching. This pair is now available at HoopCity, and there’s a few sizes on ebay.

Air Jordan 1 25th Anniversary: The Suitcase Returns!

For those of you who were in the game when the Air Jordan XVII first released, you probably remember the suitcase that came with it. Sure, it looked like one of those suitcases used during the big drug deals scenes in mob movies, but it had style, and was a helluva way to store your kicks. Well, Jordan Brand has decided to bring back the suitcase as part of its packaging for the Air Jordan 1 25th Anniversary. They’ll come with the same case included with the original White/College Blue-Black 17s, including the inside padding. Not sure how much this will bump up the price, but it sure is worth it.

Nike Blazer High Foamposite Obsidian/Pine Green-Black

Similar to the Blue Foamposite Blazers posted a while back, Nike has applied its Foamposite technology to the Pine Green colorway. With the exception of the swoosh, the entire upper and outsole is made out of Foamposite material, which should make it much much structurally sound and durable than traditional Blazers. If you’d like to get your hands on a pair, they are available in most stores now, and there’s also a nice selection on ebay.

Air Jordan Classic ’91 Varsity Red/Black-White

Taking inspiration from Nikes and Air Jordans from the early 90s, Jordan Brand has created this all new sneaker, called the Air Jordan Classic ’91. This colorway has an all-red leather and suede upper, contrasted by black eyelets and laces, and a white midsole. The classic Air Jordan “Wings” logo has been embroidered on the side. Expect to see these in early 2010.

Jordan CP3.III “Mardi Gras”

Check out this pair of CP3.IIIs, created to celebrate net year’s Mardi Gras event in New Orleans. This pair has a white and purple upper, with yellow contrast stitching, and blue accents. To help in capturing the Mardi Gras theme, a purple midsole with white and purple speckles was used. This pair will release on 12/24/2009, the day before Christmas.
