Air Jordan XI Retro Low I.E. White/Varsity Red

This year, it looks like we can expect one more Air Jordan XI Retro Low I.E. colorway. This pair has a white upper, commonly seen on previous colorways, but this time, it looks like patent leather has been used on the ribs. Red and white elephant print has been used, along with a red and icey clear sole. These are sure to get mixed opinions. Don’t be surprised to see them at the outlets a few months after the release, which is planned for sometime this Fall. Pics from Modern Notoriety.

Nike Air Max JR Dark Grey/White-Total Orange

There’s two types of statements: opinions and facts. I don’t think anyone can argue that it’s a fact that Ken Griffey, Jr. has had the hottest sneakers for any baseball player (eat your heart out, Jeter). Once again, Nike has maintained his reputation with their latest hybrid, The Nike Air Max JR. The JR is a combination of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 and Nike’s 360 Max Air sole. This colorway is planned for release in September.

Nike Dunk Low Pro SB Neon Green J-Pack

Finally, a new J-Pack! Well, these aren’t really inspired by any Air Jordan 1 colorway that I can remember, but they do resemble the 2005 J-Packs enough to receive the name. This year’s J-Pack uses the same leather and suede fabric combination, only this time a neon green swoosh has been used. The Neon J-Packs started hitting shelves overseas early last month, but now they are starting to appear in the U.S. If they haven’t made it to your local skateshop yet, keep checking. You can also get them on ebay. Here’s a link to the auctions.

Nike Air Max 95 Anthracite/Photo Blue-Green Apple-Wht

Here’s a hot new Air Max 95 colorway. At first glance, this pair looks like quite a few releases we’ve seen in the past, fading from anthracite at the sole to white at the tongue. Unlike previous releases, however, these AM95s take gradient patterns one step further, by adding it to the sole. The air soles fade from photo blue to green apple, matching the blue and green swoosh on the side. A hint of green has also been added to the eyelets. You can get your hands on a pair of these now at JD Sports.

For the last few years, Nike has made it a tradition to create a “Dunkman” version of the Lebron sneaker, and this year is no exception. Here is a look at the first colorway of the Lebron 8 P.S. Now here’s an interesting pair of XIs. Instead of the typical patent leather fabric, this pair has actually been draped in carbon fiber! Apparently they were spotted during NBA All-Star weekend. No word yet on these, but I would definitely like to see them in person. What a hot idea!
