We’re just getting into summer, but Nike is already prepping for fall. Check out this new Nike Air Pegasus II colorway. They have a mostly white upper, complemented beautifully with orange and purple accents. These will be great for taking the kids trick-or-treating. They will release sometime this fall.
Air Jordan X Retro Chicago in January (Finally)
Chicago Air Jordan X Retros? I know, almost two years ago, I was saying the same thing. I even had pics, just like the one shown below. This time, however, we have an actual product number, as well as a release month, instead of just a guess. As of now, they are scheduled to release in January 2012. This is only a sample pair, so don’t be surprised if it changes a little, along with the release date.

Nubuck Black/Cement Air Jordan IIIs? Yep, its not a typo. Jordan Brand has taken the forever-classic Air Jordan III Retro, and replaced the entire black upper with black nubuck suede. Now, before anyone gets their panties up in a bunch, these are only samples, and Jordan Brand plans to release the actual model in its traditional leather form. Pics from Modern Notoriety, more info on these as it becomes available.

Nike Zoom Kobe Venomenon II
Here’s a first look at the Nike Zoom Kobe V, Nike’s follow up to the Kobe V spin-off Zoom Venomenon I. Designed as more of a team sneaker, the Kobe Venomemon II has a more basic upper, but retains the Zoom Air unit. Expect to see these along with other colorways later this year or early 2012.

Nike Blazer High Ripstop – Dark Grey
By now, you’re probably used to seeing the Nike Blazer High in its usual leather or suede fabric, but how about nylon? Yep, no joke. With Nike Blazer Ripstop, the almost the entire upper has been covered with nylon, with the exception of a few leather panels. This colorway has a dark grey upper, completed with a black outsole. So far, you can only get these in Japan, but hopefully they’ll make it to the U.S. If you can read the language, you can cop a pair from LTD.
Nike Air Presto Summer 2011
With summer officially in effect, it’s common for people to start running again to get back into shape. If you’re looking to get your run on as well, Nike’s got you covered with these beautiful new Nike Air Presto colorways, released as part of their summer 2011 lineup. Three colorways were created, all in warm colors, allowing you to choose from either yellow, light blue, or red. You can cop all three models now at Nike.com, Kix-Files, or eBay.
Rare Air: Air Jordan III Cleats Marvin Harrison PE
By now, many of you have probably seen the Air Jordan III cleats, but here’s a very unique colorway. Created for Marvin Harrison to wear in 2008 during his final year with the Indianapolis Colts, this pair has a mostly black upper, complemented with blue accents, and blue on black elephant print. There’s no telling how many pairs of these were actually produced, but they sure are nice. You can get this particular pair now on eBay. Here’s a link to the auction.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Dark Pine”
Nike gives us yet another beautiful new Nike Air Foamposite Pro colorway, this time in green. Very similar to the Obsidian/Pine Green Nike Blazer High released back in ’09, this pair has a dark pine green upper, complemented with the usual black tongue and icy clear sole. There’s no official release date for these yet, but you can cop them now on Marqueesole.
Nike Air Max 90 Black/Grey-Yellow
Even after all these years, Nike is still coming up with original colorways for the Nike Air Max 90. Here’s an early look at one of their latest creations. This time, the they’ve dressed the 90s up with a black and grey upper, followed with yellow accents, and a white and yellow sole. They are scheduled to hit stores in July. If you’d like to guarantee a pair, the UK-based store Crooked Tongues is taking preorders.
Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Grey Marble”
Even with the Kobe VII in the works, Nike is still churning out hot, creative colorways of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI. This time, they’ve created the “Grey Marble”, which resembles just that. The entire upper has been done in a light gray, contrasted with a white swoosh and a matching white midsole. Seems pretty simple, huh? There’s more. Take a closer look at the “snake skin” pebbles, and you’ll see that they’ve been covered with a marble-like texture. Kinda creates the appearance of a “stone” black mamba, IMO. It’s the creativity and little details like this that make the Kobe VI a definite classic. Oh, and it’s super light and comfortable as well. Stay tuned for release info on these.

Air Jordan XI Low IE Retro White/Black
2011 marks the return of the Air Jordan XI Low IE, and the introduction of a few new colorways. One of the first one to release is this white/black pair shown below. Featuring a White and black leather upper and the traditional clear sole, it looks like a tribute to it’s White/Black-Concord midtop counterpart, also scheduled to release again for the Holidays. The White/Metallic Silver XI Low IEs will release sometime in August, at a retail price of $120.
Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13 GS Lemon Frost
Jordan Brand’s CMFT series has been incredibly successful, incorporating the styling of popular Air Jordans from the past into a running sneaker. Here’s a look at the latest colorway of the CMFT Viz Air 13, created for the girls. This pair has a very clean white and grey leather upper, but the real attention maker comes from the lemon frost-colored midsole. Expect to see these in stores soon, but you can already cop a pair on Kix-Files.
Rare Air: Air Jordan 1 x Jumpman Pro Hybrid
Here’s a very unlikely (and odd) hybrid. Jordan Brand has taken the classic Air Jordan 1, and fused it to the sole of the it’s first team shoe, the Jumpman Pro. While it’s definitely not the most natural flow, it’s a significant improvement on the comfort of the original Air Jordan sole. This sample was created in 2010, so I wouldn’t expect to see these go into production at this point. Nice to dream, though.

Rare Air: Nike Dunk Mid SB “Wu-Tang” Sample
If you’ve been n the sneaker game for a while now, you probably remember the Nike Dunk High Wu-Tangs, obviously inspired by the popular group. In 2010, Nike released a Dunk SB Mid colorway that, while not related related to the Wu Tang Clan at all, received the same nickname. Believe it or not, another version of the sneaker was created, which never went into production. As you can see, the red lining further separates them from the nickname. This pair was listed on eBay, but it’s still unknown as to how many samples were actually made.
