Nike Sportswear Dunk High VT Premium “Wheat Pack”

Last month, we saw a preview of a couple upcoming Dunk VT colorways, but here’s a look at the first Nike Dunk High VT to release. Created as part of Nike’s “Wheat Pack”, this Dunk High has received a completely solid wheat upper, made using Nike’s Vac Tech. A pair of wheat laces have been laced in, and a white midsole adds a nice color contrast. From the pic, it almost looks as if it were carved from a giant chunk of balsa wood. They are truly a piece of art. They are scheduled to release on October 7, 2011.

Rare Air: Air Jordan X Retro White/Varsity Red-Steel Grey Samples

If you were into the sneaker game back in ’05, you definitely remember the White/Varsity Red-Steel Grey. They were one of the few well-received releases among a number of disappointing colorways, and sold fairly well in stores. This pair, however is not quite the pair we remember from 2005. This is actually an unreleased sample, with one major difference. Instead of the silver sock liner, this pair has received a checkerboard pattern, very similar to that of the White/Black-Steel Grey Xs. It might not seem like much, but IMO, Jordan Brand’s decision to switch to a solid liner was a good one, as this seems to take away the attention from the rest of the sneaker. This pair was originally posted by Stickie213.
