Air Jordan XI Concord 2011, DMP, and OG Quick Comparison

Here’s a quick comparison of the Air Jordan XI Concords. I would have included the 2000 release as well, but my pair so yellowed, I decided to leave them out. From a distance, the sneakers look pretty much the same, but up close you can really see the differences, especially in the shape of the patent leather. I plan to do a more in-depth comparison on these in the near future, so keep checking back.

Nike Air Max 2012 – Pink/Blue-White

Last week, we got a first look at the Nike Air Max 2012. Today, we get a glance at this Pink/Blue-White color scheme. The majority of the upper has been done in pink and blue, with white Hyperfuse material underneath. A blue translucent sole does the rest. I’d expect to see these release as a womens’ color scheme, but in my opinion, they’d make a great mens sneaker as well.

Air Jordan XII Retro “Playoffs” – Detailed Images

The Concords might be all the rage this week, but next year, most of us will be looking forward to the Black/White-Metallic Silver Air Jordan XIIs, aka “The Playoffs”. True to the originals, The combination of Black on White with a metallic silver Jumpman logo remains unchanged. We still don’t have a release date yet, but I’d expect to see them in stores next spring or summer. If you just can’t wait, they are available now at Marqueesole.

Air Jordan 1 Retro Phat – Obsidian/Cool Grey-White

The Air Jordan 1 Phat has been quite popular over the last few years, and Jordan Brand just keeps churning out new releases. Here’s look at one of their latest designs. Using leather and mesh, this pair has received a full obsidian upper, complemented with cool grey laces and a white and cool grey sole. They are due out in spring 2012.

Nike Dunk Mid Pro SB – Golden Hops – More Images

It’s been a few months, but finally here’s another look at the upcoming “Golden Hops” Nike Dunk Mid Pro SB. They have a combination of dark brown leather and wheat-colored suede, finished off with a white and black sole. A red and gold tongue logo. Originally thought to release in the spring, they are now scheduled for a January 2012 release.

Air Jordan 2012 “Year of the Dragon”

The LeBron 9s are no longer alone in celebrating China’s new year. The Air Jordan 2012 joins the parade with this fresh new colorway. Much more vibrant than the designs we’ve seen before, the “Year of the Dragon” 2012s have been done in a bright blue pebbled leather, with aquamarine material holding the Flywire together. Bright yellow has been used on the sockliner and laces, and bright white for the Jumpman and outsole. They will release in stores sometime next year.

Nike Dunk High Pro SB “Camo”

Next year, the Dunk SB will once again go camouflage with this new Dunk High release. The majority of the sneaker has received a dark camo treatment, while the inner panels are wrapped in black suede. A dark colored swoosh completes the upper, and a white and black sole provide the cushioning. The Camo Dunk High SB should appear in skateshops next fall.

This pair have been covered in a combination of black suede and leather, while a black and red checkerboard pattern finishes makes up the sockliner. A red length Max Air unit has been used to match. Nike LeBron 9 “Greater China” Available Now

Many of you may have been too distracted by the release of the Last Shots to notice, but the “Greater China” Nike LeBron IX also hit stores yesterday. Continuing the tradition of releasing China-inspired LeBron colorway with each model, the IX have received a combination of Neptune and Current Blue. Orange graphics represent the Chinese Year of the Dragon. They were made available at House of Hoops stores and select Foot Locker locations. They went pretty fast in many areas and the online stores has already sold out, so if you can’t find a pair, check out eBay.

Nike Dunk High Pro SB – Clay/Black-White

Nike SB plans to get 2012 started on the right foot (no pun intended) with this fresh new Dunk High Pro SB release. Using suede as the fabric of choice, this sneaker has a combination of clay and black on the upper, finished off with a white and black sole. They aren’t scheduled to release until January, but you can cop them now at Premier for $95.

New Balance 574 “Dragon Pack”

Next year marks the Chinese Year of the Dragon, and New Balance is helping to celebrate it with the 574 Dragon Pack. The pack includes eight different color schemes, with Red, Yellow, and Black releasing first. A gold color scheme will release to select shops in Asia, while the other four will be display-only models, made as part of a collaboration with other shops (Freshness).
