Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack – First Look

Paying tribute to MJ’s 3rd NBA title, Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack. In similar fashion to 2014’s Air Jordan 6 Championship Pack, two sneakers have been included, respectively called “Champagne” and “Cigar”. This first pair is mostly white in color, constructed of white leather with a partial glossy finish. Metallic gold has been used on the strap and bottom, overlaid with fingerprints, paying homage to the Larry O’Brien trophy. The second sneaker features a black-base, complemented with confetti graphics at the bottom, as well as the sock liner.

At the moment, a release date has not been announced for the Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack, but expect to see the sneaker in June, near the NBA Finals.

Nike Kobe 11 Brave Blue – Official Images

In a couple of weeks, we’ll see yet another addition to the Nike Kobe 11 collection. Called “Brave Blue”, this new colorway utilizes a gradient pattern that fades from Brave Blue at the front to University Blue at the rear, overlaid by a metallic silver swoosh. Matching University Blue laces and tongue graphics blend in perfectly with the sneaker’s black tongue and heel. At the rear, an emblem reads, “I See Beauty In The Struggle”.

Jordan Brand finally joins in on Nike’s “What The” series by applying the popular theme to its first sneaker, the Air Jordan 1. Using the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG cut as its canvas, this pair incorporates design cue from some of the sneaker’s popular colorways, including, the Chicago, Shadow, and Gorge Green releases, just to name a few. So far, an exact release date for the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG What The has not been announced, but expect a release sometime in July. Stay tuned for more information on this upcoming sneaker.

Reminder: Air Jordan XII Retro French Blue Releases Tomorrow

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow the Air Jordan XII Retro French Blue colorway will finally release in stores. Not seen since its original 2004 release, this colorway has been long overdue for a re-release. Those of you looking to obtain a pair should plan to arrive at stores early. If you’d prefer to shop online, online stores like Nike.com and Footlocker will release the sneaker beginning at 12:00 PM EDT. Retail price is set at $190.

Air Jordan 12 Wings Official Images

Here’s an official look at the upcoming Air Jordan 12 Wings colorway. At first, the sneaker appears to be nothing more than altered version of the classic Playoffs color scheme. When rubbed and agitated however, its blacked ribbed leather upper reveals beautiful metallic gold wing graphics. This feature represents the discomfort involved in growing wings and learning to fly, similar to the hard work MJ put in to become a great basketball player. Additional design cues include the use of metallic gold eyelets up top, as well as a metallic gold side tab that reads “WINGS”. One of the most noticeable differences in this version, however, is the application of a silhouette at the heel that depicts MJ’s wingspan. This silhouette comes from the classic Air Jordan poster featuring His Airness fully stretched out, which is also the primary source of inspiration for the sneaker.

The Air Jordan XII Wings will release via Nike’s SNKRS app via The Draw on Saturday, April 2. Retail price is set at $225. Unfortunately, not everyone will be successful in picking up a pair through the app. If you’d like to secure a pair for yourself, a pairs have already surfaced on eBay. Air Jordan 15 Stealth 2017 Release

While not one of the most popular (or comfortable) Air Jordan models, the Air Jordan 15 is long overdue for a retro release. So far, the sneaker has only been re-released once in original form with the 2008 Air Jordan 15/8 Collezione Pack, and also as a revamped version with the Air Jordan 15 SE. This upcoming release will be true to the sneaker’s original 1999 Stealth release, sporting a beautiful combination of black mesh, woven mesh, and leather. The midsole is molded in black, with anthracite used at the midfoot area. Subtle red graphics have been placed on the heel and toe.

An official release date for the Air Jordan 15 Stealth has not yet been announced, but don’t expect to see the sneaker in stores until spring 2017, most likely with more colorway s to follow. How do you feel about the re-release of the Air Jordan XV?

Nike KD 8 Laser Orange

Here’s a first look at the Nike KD 8 Laser Orange, the next scheduled colorway of Kevin Durant’s latest signature sneaker. This design combines Vivid Orange and black, incorporated into the sneaker’s Flyweave upper. Black laces, Flywire, and lining blend in nicely, white a matching Vivid Orange swoosh can be seen on the sides. The midsole is molded in white, while Laser Orange has been applied to the full length Zoom Air unit.

Nike Kobe 11 Easter

As expected Nike will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with a new Easter Pack. Tonight we have a detailed look at one of the most anticipated sneakers from the pack, the Nike Kobe 11 Easter. This year’s version applies a gradient pattern to the sneaker’s Flyknit upper, starting off with Bright Mango at the rear, which switches over to dark grey at the middle and continues to the front. A scaly pattern has been placed on the side swoosh graphic, while dark grey is applied to the tongue and laces. Finishing touches are provided via smoked out translucent outsole and black lining.

Air Jordan 10 Retro Chicago City Pack

Here’s another look at Jordan Brand’s newest take on the Air Jordan 10 “Chicago” theme. Part of an all-new city pack, this new design features a similar white leather upper, but instead of using a Bulls-inspired design, it takes inspiration from the city’s flag, incorporating Bright Crimson up top, overlaid with University Blue eyelets. Black lining finishes the upper, while the Bright Crimson and University Blue color pattern continues at the sole. “CHI” has been embroidered on the sides in red, outlined in black.

Those of you looking to add the Air Jordan 10 Chicago City Pack to your collection will be able to obtain a pair in stores starting May 14. Retail price is set at $190.

2016 will mark the return of the White/Varsity Red Air Jordan 11 Retro Low, one of Jordan Brand’s first colorways of the sneaker in low top form. Constructed of white mesh with bright Varsity Red patent leather, this pair is also one of the cleanest examples of the low top design. White laces blend in perfectly, while a white midsole is mated to an icy clear outsole. Jordan’s “23” is painted in black at the heel.

Air Jordan 12 GS University Blue

Next month Jordan Brand will release a sneaker originally released in 2004 not once, but twice as a player exclusive colorway for none other than Carmelo Anthony. Unfortunately, this year’s version will be made exclusively for the kiddies.

Designed during Melo’s early days with the Denver Nuggets, it comes equipped with a mostly white design, contrasted with University Blue lining and a matching heel tab and outsole. The tongue graphics have also been embroidered in blue, while the heel’s “23” is white in color. The overall color palette perfectly matches the Nugget’s home uniform, and will also appeal to UNC fans.
