Rare Air: Air Jordan IV Retro “Quai 54”

Every year, Jordan brand usually creates special sneaker or two to celebrate the Quai 54 basketball tournament. 2012 is no exception, but unfortunately, this pair isn’t as extravagant as the past Quai 54 releases. Instead of creating an all-original colorway, Jordan Brand opted to use the Military IVs. The only real difference is that the Quai 54 tongue logo has been used in place of the usual Jumpman. What’s so special about them? Well, it comes down to availability. The Quai 54 Air Jordan 4s are limited to just 24 pairs, making them incredibly difficult to obtain. Luckily, this pair is currently available on eBay through seller buzybone88.

Nike Blazer Mid LR “US Medal Stand”

The Nike Blazer Mid LR continues to catch on with more and more colorways on the way. Let’s take a look at one the latest designs. Called the “U.S. Medal Stand”, this pair has been created to celebrate the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, and will be seen on the feet of select athletes as they receive medals. The upper has been be covered in black suede with grey accents and a white swoosh. A gum sole adds the finishing touches. In addition, the tongue logo reads “The United States of America”.
