Ok, the term “motorboat” doesn’t exactly bring sneakers to mind, but evidently it does for someone at Jordan Brand. Using another MJ alter ego as inspiration, the “Motorboat Jones Air Jordan 9 Retro features a red suede upper, held together with black stitching and completed with matching black laces and eyelets. On the inner side of the tongue, you’ll find a pretty cool graphic that depicts a bandit. Expect these to drop as another fall release.

Strawberry once again makes its way to the Air Jordan V GS, this time with A much more vibrant color scheme. Created as part of Jordan Brands “For the Love of the Game” series (they always use the oddest colorways), this pair sports an upper completely made of Strawberry red, with pink used on the netting and laces. A white and red sole has been used speckled with pink. The FLOTG logo has been embroidered on the side in white. Stay tuned for more info on these in the near future.

It appears that releases of the Nike LeBron X are coming much, much sooner than expected. This Fireberry colorway is expected to drop this Saturday, September 22. It features a beautiful burgundy upper, a white and black speckled sole and matching laces, finished off with Fireberry accents used on the swoosh, eyelets and outsole. A beautiful sneaker no doubt, but will you fork out the $270?

So far we’ve only seen fuzzy images of the planned 2013 Black/Varsity Red Air Jordan 13 Retro, but now we finally get a detailed look. Staying true to the original release, this pair sports black leather and red suede, finished off with what looks to be reflective 3M material. An official release date is yet to be announced, but keep checking back for more on these.

2012 is hardly over, but Jordan Brand continues to make big plans for 2013. In addition to all of the other hot releases planned for next year, it appears that they all have plans to bring back the “Aqua” Air Jordan VIII. Not seen since 2007, this pair is at the top of the wish list for many sneakerheads. This is a picture of the 2007 version, hopefully we’ll have more info in the near future.

Originally only a rumor, the return of 2006’s “Thunder” Air Jordan 4 Retro is not only true, but we now have release info as well. Here’s some release info on the upcoming “Cutting Jade” Nike LeBron X. It appears that they are scheduled to drop on November 10, 2012. Not too far away, but at least it’s a couple weeks before Black Friday, so the hype shouldn’t be too bad. Finished in green with a black and red midsole, this is one of those love ’em or hate ’em releases. What do you think of the Cutting Jades?

It looks like it’s going to be a great September for Air Max lovers, as Nike has already come up with this beautiful new Air Max 95 colorway. It uses a combination of White and Wolf Grey to cover the majority of both the upper and sole, while volt provides a nice contrast on the graphics and Max Air unit. You can get these now at Foot Locker for $150.
Here’s an official look at the Olympic version of Chris Paul’s latest sneaker, the Jordan CP3.VI. Created to match the Team USA uniform, they have a mostly white upper, finished with navy patent leather and suede and red graphics. You can get them in stores now, or online at Nikestore for $125.

Overhyped and overpriced. That’s what a lot of sneakerheads (including myself) said when Jordan Brand released the “Lightning” and “Thunder” packs back in 2006. Somehow, both packs managed to sell out immediately, even at the retail prices of $250 for the Lightning pack and a whopping $500 for the Thunder pack. To put more salt on the wounds, there’s a rumor that Jordan Brand plans to bring back the Thunder colorway. There’s no confirmation yet (image below is of 2006 version), but if they do release don’t expect a full package. Would you cop?
