Air Jordan IX Retro “Doernbecher”

The Air Jordan 9 is the latest Jordan Brand model to receive the Doernbecher treatment. Designed by Oswaldo Jiminez, the IXs have received a white and black upper, overplayed metallic gold leafing on the sides. Metallic gold has also been used on the eyelets and tongue logo, which has been replaced with Oswaldo’s nickname, “Pollito” (means “Chicken Little”). To finish things off, an icy clear midsole has been used in place of a traditional solid color. The Air Jordan 9 Doernbecher will release on November 30, 2012, retailing for $175.

Nike Air Force 180 Mid – Black/Atomic Teal

While not nearly as popular as the Nike Air Force 1, the Nike Air Force 180 does a holds its own, and next year you can expect to get your hands on this beautiful colorway. It’s primarily black upper has received Atomic Teal accents, finished off with white speckles on the gradient-patterned midsole. No word yet on the release date, but expect them to drop in the first quarter of 2013.

Air Jordan III Retro “Crimson”

It seems that Jordan Brand may be gearing up for another slew of Air Jordan 3 releases next year, starting with this new Black/Dark Crimson colorway. It looks as if the lighting used to take the photos have changed the actual color, but this pair has an almost completely black upper with the exception of dark crimson used on the eyelets, liner, and tongue logo. They are expected to drop in February 2013. What do you think of this upcoming release?

Reebok Kamikaze II Retro 2013

Before I got into Jordans, I was a hardcore Reebok fanatic. My favorites were Reebok Kamikaze I and II, Shawn Kemp’s signature sneaker. You can only imagine how happy I am to announce that the Kamikaze II will be returning for Spring 2013, with some new colorways as well. Including in the lineup will be the original White/ Black-Green design, as well as Red/Black and White/Navy colroways. Tonight we finally get a detailed look at the upcoming White/Varsity Red-Black Air Jordan 1 Retro High. The colorway that started it all, this pair stays as true to the original version Jordan Brand will allow, featuring an all-leather upper, and a true high-cut profile. Unfortunately, it appears that Jordan Brand has done away with the rumored Nike Air logo on the tongue and heel in favor of the Jumpman. I guess we can’t have our cake and eat it, too.
