Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Returns for 2016

2016 sees the return of a very beloved Nike running sneaker, the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon. Originally released in 1997, the Spiridon is one of Nike’s first truly lightweight running sneakers, and it’s quite stylish as well. An original colorway, this pair combines Wolf Grey mesh with black lining, complemented with a metallic Sport Red swoosh and matching graphics on the tongue and toe areas. White laces help secure your feet, while a white and black sole provides the cushioning.

The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon has not received an official release date for the U.S. at the moment, but is scheduled to release in Europe at shops like the Spain-based SVD this Saturday, July 16. More information will be posted as is announced.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High Olympic

Celebrate the Olympics with this upcoming Air Jordan 1 High colorway. Sporting full leather construction and a nylon tongue, this pair adopts the colors of Team USA, sporting a combination of Deep Royal Blue and white. Matching royal laces blend in perfectly while Metallic Gold Coin graphics provide the bling factor and a strong reminder of what Team USA will be striving for this summer. A bright red tongue logo completes the theme, which continues down to the Deep Royal Blue and white sole.

An official release date has not been announced for the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Olympic, but expect the sneaker to drop either late this month or early August, coinciding with the 2016 summer Olympic games. Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Yin Yang Pack

Next month, you’ll get the option of choosing between two all-new black and white and white and black Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorways. Called the Yin Yang Pack, it consists of a mostly black colorway, complemented with white graphics and a red and white tongue logo. The second colorway is exactly the opposite, utilizing black graphics over an all-white upper. The tongue logo for this pair has been embroidered in red and black. Both pairs feature leather construction with a nylon tongue.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Yin Yang Pack will release in stores on August 6, which each pair retailing for $160. 2016 Air Jordan XI Space Jam – New Images

Here’s a some new mouth-watering images of what is easily this year’s most anticipated sneaker, the 2016 Air Jordan XI Space Jam. Draped in black, the upper sports the usual mesh and patent leather construction, complemented with fat black laces and a contrasting white tongue logo. Dark Concord Jumpman graphics are used on the ankle  and tongue areas, and really help give the design some personality. Staying true to the version worn by MJ, this pair incorporates the #45 at the heel instead of #23. One important detail to note is that the number has been stitched on instead of painted, similar to player exclusive versions of the sneaker. Also, unlike previous releases, this pair sports an icy blue sole in favor of the clear version. It’s a step away from the original, but it certainly doesn’t hurt the sneaker’s overall look.

As expected, the 2016 Air Jordan XI Space Jam will follow tradition with a December release, hitting stores on Saturday, December 17, 2016. Retail price is set at $220. Expect some very, very long lines.

A brand new colorway, this pair utilizes a an Obsidian blue upper applied with a satin sheen leather finish, complemented with a beautiful metallic Bronze tongue. The tongue logo has been embroidered in obsidian, with the netting, eyelets and laces matching as well. The midsole is molded in white, overlaid with speckled bronze “shark teeth”. Finishing touches are provided via a traditional icy clear sole.

Nike KD 9 USA

Gearing up for the 2016 Olympic Summer Games, Nike has created a special Team USA-themed version of Kevin Durant’s newest sneaker, the Nike KD 9. In true patriotic fashion, this pair sports a mostly white Flyknit upper, complemented with University Red swoosh graphics, and a matching tongue pull tab. Completing the color scheme is a set of Race Blue eyelets, with the same color applied to the heel tab. The sole is molded in white, a shows off the sneaker’s University Red Zoom Air unit.

Retailing for $150, the Nike KD 9 USA is officially scheduled to hit stores on Friday, July 1. There have been reports, however, of the sneaker hitting stores early in select cities such as New York.
