Nike just released official images of this year’s Nike Basketball Christmas Pack. As usual, the pack will include special Christmas-themed designs of their three premier signature sneakers, the Nike LeBron X, Nike Kobe 8 System, and Nike KD V. You’ll be able to get all three pairs on December 26 both in stores and on Nike.com. Which pair(s) do you plan to cop?
A few more images of the Nike LeBron 10 Prism have just recently made their way online, and the sneaker has never looked better. This pair makes great of a mostly back upper, accentuated nicely with white laces and a matching tongue. A silver swoosh has been placed on the side, while a prism print in typical Miami colors adds some color to the mid foot area tongue logo, and sockliner. Expect to see these early next year, retailing for $180.

If the Tree Snake Nike Air Max 90 posted yesterday was too bright for you, then maybe you’ll prefer this upcoming “Purple Safari” design. This pair has received a number of fabrics, including black suede, honeycombed mesh, and a dark grey safari print that runs along the side. Purple has been used on the eyelets, side logo and midsole, while grey is placed on the tongue and laces. Expect these to drop in early 2013.
Jordan Brand plans to get the year started off right with three brand new Air Jordan 1 Low colorways. In addition to the Squadron Blue/Electric Yellow colorway posted earlier this week, we can also expect to see Sail/Sport Fuschia-Metallic Gold-Black and Gym Red/White-Black colorways. Expect to see these in stores in the first couple weeks of January 2013, all retailing for $95.

Tonight we get an early look at yet another Nike KD V color scheme. Possibly taking inspiration from the top secret site Area 51, the Area 72s have received a very alien theme. As you can see, a number of bright colors have been chosen, as well as a tongue logo that resembles the texture of a meteor. Not much is known about this pair yet, but stay tuned for more information.

We’ve seen a number of Nike Air Max 90 releases over the past two years, so it should come as no surprise to see a pair inspired by the Chinese New Year. The “Tree Snakes” are primarily covered by a pastel lime green, contrasted with black on the laces tongue, swoosh, and side strip. While mesh does the rest. There is currently no release info for this sneaker, but check back soon for an update.
With the Chinese new year quickly approaching, we’ve seen a number of sneakers sporting fake snakeskin, but this Nike Air Force 1 Downtown release is the most realistic one yet. Called the “Python”, this pair has been wrapped in skin that greatly resembles the deadly constrictor. unlike most snakeskin wraps we’ve seen, this pair not only covers the upper, but the midsole as well. A set of brown laces and matching eyelets finish off the top, while a grey swoosh completes this earthy theme. You can get these in select stores now.

If you’re still recovering from the release of the “Bred” Air Jordan 11, hurry up there’s another coming very shortly. Tomorrow the “Thunder”, or Black/White-Tour Yellow Air Jordan 4 will drop both in stores and online. Not seen since its super-limited release in 2006, this pair will definitely be in high demand when it drops tomorrow morning. They are expected to retail for $160. After a year of waiting, the “Bred” Air Jordan 11 Retro has finally been released. Most sneaker stores did raffles or sold exclusively to club members, but online releases were widely available as well. If you were unable to get your hands on a pair, a large number of these have already made their way to sites like eBay. Jordan Brand has finally given us some official images and release info on the upcoming White/Varsity Red-Black Air Jordan 1 Retro High. This pair features an all leather upper, a true high-cut profile, and is Jordan Brand’s best effort at remaking this colorway since 1994. You’ll be able to get your hands on these on January 5, 2013. Retail price is $110.

The Nike Lunar Force 1 gets murdered out with this fresh color scheme. From top to bottom the entire upper has been blacked out, with the exception of a few anthracite accents. A Nike Air Force 1 “XXX” lacelock has been placed on the toe. This pair should be coming to stores shortly.
Tonight we have some release info on the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro ’97 TXT. Originally expected to drop in 2013, it seems that Jordan Brand has managed to squeeze this pair in before the end of the year. They are scheduled to drop on December 31, and will retail for $120. Taking inspiration from the Air Jordan XIIIs, this hybrid should be favorite among fans of both models.

Nike has been releasing some really hot Air Max 1 colorways through their Essential lineup, and this new release proves that they aren’t dropping the ball anytime soon. Called “Atomic Teal”, this pair uses a both a dark green and a lime green, accentuated with white mesh. a cerulean blue as been used on the tongue logo and top eyelet, while a white sole provides the cushioning. You can pick this pair up now at shops like Berkeley’s Bow’s and Arrows.

Another Nike Dunk Low SB model has made it past the drawing board right before the new year. This pair sports a Squadron Blue upper, complemented with a light blue swoosh. White accents cover the heel, and a white and Squadron Blue sole does the rest. This pair is available at your local skate shop, or online at Premier.
