Here’s a first look at the Black History Month Air Jordan 1 Retro. This pair features a mostly black leather upper with what looks to be white white speckles. A blue swoosh and neon accents provide a nice contrast to the otherwise dark color scheme. No official release date yet, but expect to see these in February.

The Jordan Spizike gets in on the Black History month celebration with this exciting colorway. The Spizike has received a bright neon yellow upper, with a darker shade of neon placed along the side. Neon yellow and black Elephant print cover the toe and heel. Black tabs and a white midsole provide a nice contrast, while bright blue graphics have been embroidered on the tongue. The Nike Air Max 97 has received an upgrade for 2013 with this upcoming “USATF” quickstrike release. As you can see, this pair features a more modern Max Air unit for improved performance and comfort. Created as part of Nike’s USATF collection, it features a light olive upper complemented with black lining. The USATF logo has been embroidered on the side. Check back soon for release info.
With February just a little more than two weeks away, you should have known that Nike would have some hot new colorways planned for Black History Month. One of the first to be revealed is this Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite High colorway. This pair features a bronze foamposite shell with black up top and and matching blacked-out sole. The strap has been covered in an all-black African print. The official release date has not been revealed, but expect them to drop in early to mid February.

The Nike Kobe VIII has been completely blacked out with this upcoming “Black Snake” EXT colorway. This sneaker consists of a “murdered” upper that has been completed wrapped in a black snakeskin pattern, matched with black laces. The the theme continues with the sole. This colorway is expected to release on January 18.

The Air-Jordan 13-inspired Air Jordan ’97 returns again in yet another familiar color scheme. This colorway takes inspiration from the White/Black or “He Got Game” XIIIs. This pair features a mostly white leather upper matched with black and red accents. The midfoot area has been quilted, while a bright red Jumpman covers the tongue. The official release date for this colorway has not yet been revealed, but according to the tag, they are planned for a spring 2013 release. If you’re been following the updates, you’re probably already aware that Jordan Brand plans to bring back the “Aqua” Air Jordan 8, but you can also expect to see another OG colorway as well. The “Bugs Bunny”, or White/Black-True Red Air Jordan 8 is also expected to make a return. Considering that next year is the 20th anniversary of the VIIIs, the timing couldn’t be better. Tonight we not only have another look at the upcoming “Phoenix Suns” Nike Air Foamposite One, but some release info as well. Featuring a bright purple Foamposite upper with black and orange accents, this pair is basically a Suns fan’s dream. The clear sole is icing on the cake. You’ll be able to get your hands on a pair on March 2, 2013, retailing for $220.
Black and pink have never looks better together thanks to this upcoming Jordan Melo M9 colorway. This pair features a black upper with patent leather on the toes and lace support. Vivid Pink covers a portion of the midsole and accentuates the upper. An clear sole and Wolf Grey accents provide the finishing touches. If you’d like to get your hands on this pair, they’ll be available in stores on Wednesday, January 16. Retail price is $140.
For those of you who haven’t seen them, here’s a look at the “Oregon Ducks” Air Jordan 4 player exclusives. You may remember that back in October, we got a look at the Black “Away” version. This pair is a home colorway, featuring a mostly white upper, finished with green accents and yellow tabs. A special “Duckman has been embroidered on both the heel and hang tag. Just like the other pair, this colorway was made exclusively for Oregon players and possibly staff, so getting your hands on a pair won’t be easy.

The Nike Barkley Posite Max is quickly gaining popularity, and now Nike is heating things up even more with this special “Rayguns” release. The Foamposite upper has been covered in black and overlaid with white sports, complemented with pink and and red accents. The usual Barkley symbol has been replaced with a Rayguns logo on both the tongue and heel. What looks like black leather up top is actually 3M material, so you’re guaranteed to break necks whether the sun is up or down. Expect these to drop next month during the NBA All-Star weekend in Houston.
While many of you are looking forward to the release of the “Grape” Air Jordan 5 Retro, the little ladies have already received their own Grape release. Released yesterday alongside the Black/Varsity Red-White Air Jordan 13 Retro, this Air Jordan 13 Retro PS release features black leather and quilted mesh, contrasted with purple suede. To finish of the Grape theme, a teal sockliner has been used, and white pods have been placed on the midsole. You can get these now at Nikestore for $70.

I am not a Texas Longhorns fan at all, in fact I hate seeing Longhorns logos. Unfortunately, I know many of you Durant fans are, so for the sake of my web traffic I just had to share these. Inspired by Durant’s alma matter, this Nike Zoom KD IV colorway has received a patent leather burnt orange upper, contrasted with white accents. The usual tongue logo has been replaced with the infamous Longhorns logo. I’m sure we can expect to see these as a team colorway, but no work yet on a public release. From KevinDurant35.

Here’s another look at the Nike Zoom KD “Galaxy” or “Area 72”. Basically a new version of last year’s popular galaxy theme, this pair has a light green upper, with orange accents, matched with orange and black accents. Both the heel and tongue feature a gradient pattern that fades from teal to dark blue. The “KD” logo has been covered with a fiery print. An “Area 72” graphic has been placed on the insole. For those unaware, 1972 was the release of Nike’s first basketball sneakers, the more popular Nike Blazer, as well as the Nike Bruin. Stay tuned for more on this release.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Tree Snake” pack grows with this newly-unveiled Orange/Black colorway. This pair features Orange suede and black mesh on the upper, with black snakeskin mated to the side. The midsole continues theme with a matching paint job. A white tongue logo completes the look. Stay tuned for release info on these.
