Nike Black History Month Collection – Pics and Release Info

Here’s a detailed look at the upcoming Nike Black History Month collection. Similar to last year’s release, the collection will include Nike’s three most popular sneakers, the Kobe VIII , LeBron X, and KD V. All three pairs have received a pewter upper with and and white accents, finished off with white African tribal print. In addition to this release, you’ll also be able to get your hands on BHM versions of the Nike Air Force 1 Low, AF1 Foamposite, and Womens Dunk Sky High. If that isn’t enough, Nike has designed a pretty sweet Destroyer Jacket to match. The entire collection will release on Saturday, January 26. All pairs are limit one per person. Nike LeBron X “Volt Dunkman”

Here’s yet another Dunkman LeBron 10 colorway, this time with a much brighter tone. The majority of this sneaker has been wrapped in Volt yellow, contrasted with Wolf Grey and Platinum accents. A pair of Volt and Wolf Grey laces provide a perfect match. The release date for this sneaker has not yet been announced, but check back for an update in the near future.

Nike Space Program “Extraterrestrial” (All-Star) Pack

Yesterday, we got a sneak peak at the “All-Star” Nike Kobe VIII. Today, Nike has given us a detailed look at not only the Kobes, but also All-Star game versions of the Nike LeBron X and the previously-seen Nike KD V. Created as part of Nike’s fictional Nike Space Program Pack, or “NSP” for short, this pack is basically a sequel to last year’s “Galaxy series. Considering that this year’s All-Star game will be held in Houston, Texas, home of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, no theme fits the occasion better. The pack is scheduled to release on February 15 both in stores and on Nike.com.

Nike Womens Air Max 95 Dynamic Flywire – Grey/Purple

The Air Jordan 13-inspired Air Jordan 1 Retro ’97 collection expands once more with this hot new colorway. This pair uses design cues from the “Playoff”, or as I like to call them, the All-Star Air Jordan 13s (MJ debuted Black/Black 13s in the 1998 All-Star game, not the Flints). As we’ve seen from customs in the past, just about every sneaker looks good with a “Miami Nights” theme. Thanks to Ecentrik Customs, that statement holds true for the Air Jordan 3 well. Air Jordan V Retro GS – White/Fire Red-Black

We’re down to only a week away from the 2013 release of the Air Jordan V Retro. What better way to prepare than with a new set of images to drool over? The pics show below are actually of the GS version, but as you can see, not much detail has been lost in the conversion to kiddy size. It features a mostly white upper, black midsole, and Fire Red accents. Of course, don’t forget about the icy clear sole. The Fire Red 5s will release on Saturday, January 26, retailing for $160. Nike Air Penny V “Eggplant” New Images, Release Info

Today we’ve got some fresh shots of the upcoming “Eggplant”, or “Invisibility Cloak” Nike Air Penny 5. Featuring a mostly black upper, this pair has been accentuated with a purple midsole that changes from blue to green depending on the angle of light. This same chameleon paint has also been used on the upper. A teal and white “1-cent” logo adds the finishing touches. You’ll be able to get your hands on these on March 2, retailing for $165.

Nike Dunk High Pro SB – Chuck Treece – McRad

Check out this hot new Dunk SB High colorway, unveiled a couple days ago at the 10 Years of Nike SB Exhibition in Berlin, Germany. This pair takes inspiration from Chuck Treece, guitarist, drummer, and singer of the bad McRad. McRad is a popular band in the skateboarding community, with songs featured in a number of videos in the 80s. Chuck Treece was the first black skateboarder to grace the cover of Thrasher Magazine. He was placed on the cover in a 1984 issue, hence the ’84 embroidered on the toe. Expect to see this pair in stores in February.

Nike Air Max 1 Premium – Black/Metallic Gold-Hyper Red-Sail

Nike Air Max 180 EM Spring 2013 Lineup

Nike has already started to reveal its spring 2013 lineup for the Nike Air Max 180, and so far things look quite promising. At least three colorways have been schedule to release. The first pair has been nicknamed “Sunset”, and features an orange-to-yellow gradient pattern matched with black and white accents. The second pair has a bright blue upper, black and purple accents, and a speckled sole. Last but not least, we’ll be getting an Engineered Mesh version of the classic “Ultramarine” color scheme.
