With less than a week to go before its release, here’s an official look at the Air Jordan 9 Kobe, an all-new colorway inspired by the recently-retired Black Mamba.air jordan 9 kobe

Designed with the L.A. Lakers’ home uniform in mind, this pair utilizes white perforated leather, surrounded by a contrasting Concord patent leather. Matching concord has been applied to the tongue, sock liner, and pull tab, while Tour Yellow graphics complete the theme. The eyelets are metallic silver in color, and hold a set of clean white laces. Cushioning is provided via Concord and white sole, complemented with a yellow Jumpman graphic. While we originally expected to see Kobe’s “#8” at the heel, Jordan number remains intact. Either way, this definitely a colorway Kobe and the Lakers would feel right at home shooting hoops in at the Staples Center.

The Air Jordan IX Kobe is scheduled to release on Saturday, November 19, 2016, with pricing is set at $190. It appears that this colorway will be a general release, but expect this model to move fast, considering not only the popularity of the Air Jordan 9, but also Kobe as well. Stores like Foot Locker will release the sneaker using either its Launch Reservation or Sweepstakes procedures, depending on the store. Air Jordan 5 Tan Tongue

Jordan Brand gives us yet another beautiful colorway of its World War II-inspired sneaker, the Air Jordan 5. Called the Air Jordan 5 Tan Tongue (for obvious reasons), this new design is bound to turn heads. For the most part, this sneaker features a monochrome upper, having been covered almost completely in Dark Olive, somewhat reminiscent of the Air Jordan 5 “Army Olive” and “Fear” releases. This pair, however, uses a much darker tone, and is contrasted only by a tan tongue, which strays away from the traditional 3M material that we’ve seen on most Air Jordan V colorways. Additional detailed include the use matching of leather laces, as well as that icy clear sole that we’re accustomed to.

Not very much is known about the Air Jordan Tan Tongue’s release at the moment, but expect this sneaker to hit stores sometime in early 2017. Check back for an update in the near future, along with more detailed photos. Do you think you’ll pick up the Air Jordan V Tan Tongue when it releases?

Air Jordan 11 Grey Suede Available Now

In case you missed it, Jordan Brand unexpected released the first wave of the Air Jordan 11 Grey Suede, its first premium release of the sneaker. The first stores to release the highly-limited sneaker were Kith Brooklyn and Concepts NYC.

As previously stated, this model is a premium release, and it certainly lives up to that branding.The traditional patent leather and full-grain leather construction has been ditched for a beautiful suede finish, dipped in Cool Grey. This, heavy-duty leather laces have been applied, as well, and seem almost at home with the 21-year-old design. The Jumpman ankle logo has been embroidered in a matching Cool Grey, while the “23” heel logo is completely absent from the sneaker. The usually white midsole remains unchanged, and is mated to a cloudy white outsole, giving the sneaker a super fresh finish. Additional touches include the packaging, which is Cool Grey in color, decorated with a white sole pattern, and Jordan’s number in “AJXI” font.

Another significantly noticeable difference between this release and all other colorways of the Air Jordan 11 is its price tag. Retailing for a whopping $400, the Air Jordan 11 Grey Suede is out of reach for many sneakerheads, but that just made it easier for the purists to obtain. It currently remains unknown where these will drop next, but expect to see shipments in a few more stores in the very near future. Nike Kobe 11 Elite Low Ghost of Christmas Past

The Nike Kobe 11 will remain in Nike’s lineup for the remainder of 2016 with a new colorway inspired an old tale that you’ve probably heard before. Called the Nike Kobe 11 Ghost of Christmas Past, this pair is designed after the Ghost of the same name that visited the selfish Ebeneezer Scrooge in the story and often-remade film, A Christmas Carol.

Giving the sneaker a ghostly appearance, the Flyknit upper has been wrapped in Liquid Lime, new variant of Nike’s Green Glow color. Dark Obsidian is used as a supporting color, and is applied to the sock liner, swoosh graphics, and is also used on the sneaker’s dotted Liquid Lime laces. The four “stitches” at the left heel have been embroidered in red, while an icy clear sole with a blue tint gives the design a clean finish. These is one of the brightest Kobe 11s we’ve seen and isn’t for everyone’s taste. If breaking necks is your goal, however, this is the sneaker for you.

Expect to see the Nike Kobe XI Ghost of Christmas Past in stores on December 24. An Elite colorway, this pair will be priced at $220, with availability at most major retailers. Considering that the sneaker has a Christmas Even release and the fact that we probably won’t see many more Kobe 11 releases after this one, expect these to move quite fast, despite having to compete numerous December releases, like the Space Jam 11s. Air Jordan 12 Deep Royal Blue

Here’s one last look at the Air Jordan 12 Deep Royal Blue. Released yesterday, this new colorway sports a full Royal Blue upper, constructed of nubuck suede at the top, and finished off with matching pebbled leather at the bottom. Giving the sneaker a consistent color palette, a Deep Royal Blue sole has been applied as well. Matching laces provide the sneaker with a snug fit, while white graphics have been placed on the tongue. The “Jumpman” logo is finished in a beautiful metallic royal blue, as well as the metal eyelets. The overall look is a solid monotone colorway that’s guaranteed to break necks anywhere you go.

Air Jordan 11 Space Jam 2016 – Even More Images

If you’re like most, you just can’t get enough of the upcoming Air Jordan XI Space Jam. Many of us grew up watching MJ rock these in Space Jam, as well as the 1995 NBA Playoffs against Shaq, Penny and the Orlando Magic. Last seen on store shelves in 2009, this sneaker has been long overdue for a new release. Dipped in black with Dark Concord graphics and an icy blue sole, it’s not a surprise why this sneaker’s popularity never ceases.

For 2016, it sports a few extra details that were absent from its previous releases, making it the best version we’ve see yet. Two of the most noticeable details is the use of fat laces, as well as the “Nike Air” logo, placed on the insole. What truly sets the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam 2016 apart from its previous releases, however, is the use of a stitched “45” on the back. Both the 2000 and 2009 releases featured a painted on “23”, inaccurate, considering that MJ actually wore “45” during the 1995 Playoffs. Sure, it’s only a slight change, but these little details make this sneaker the accurate release of the sneaker that we’ve seen to date, and that goes a long way with some of the purists.

Priced at $220, the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam will hit stores on December 10. Considering that this is the most anticipated (and hyped up) release of the year, expect this sneaker to sell out almost instantly. If you’d like to skip the crowds and headache of trying to order from most online sites, get your hands on a pair before everyone else does, you can already find just about every size on eBay. Nike Air Max 1 Premium SE Wolf Grey

Nike combines two of its most popular gray tones to create an all-new premium colorway for the fall season. The Nike Air Max 1 Premium SE Wolf Grey incorporates Wolf Grey and the front and rear of its suede-covered upper, while Cool Grey has been applied to the midfoot area and tongue. A darker gray is used for the laces. A similar two toned pattern is used on the sole.

Thanks to its overall neutral color palette, this Air Max 1 colorway is quite versatile, and will work well with most outfits. It remains uncertain as to whether this sneaker will release in the U.S. or not, but you can get them from overseas vendors like the Berlin Kreuzberg-based Overkill. Nike Air Foamposite One XX

As hard as it is to believe, almost 20 years have passed since Nike first unveiled its most technologically advanced (and most expensive) sneaker at the time, the Nike Air Foamposite One. Created for Penny Hardaway, the sneaker featured a highly-durable one-piece Foamposite upper, inner bootie, Zoom Air technology, and more style than you could shake a stick at. Sure, they were heavy, but it was a perfect showcase of the potential of Nike’s new technology. Top it off it one of the league’s most exciting up and coming players and his Chris Rock-voiced sidekick Lil’ Penny, and you had an instant recipe for success.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the sneaker, Nike will release the Nike Air Foamposite One XX. Basically a re-release of the original Neon Royal colorway, this pair stays true to its original 1997 release.It utilizes a black mesh tongue and black bootie, which leads the way down to its Neon royal Foamposite shell. As expected, the icy clear sole remains unchanged. Additional elements include the royal graphics and Penny’s iconic “1-Cent” logo on the tongue.

Scheduled to release on December 15, 2016, the Nike Air Foamposite XX will be priced at the usual Foamposite One price of $230. Without a doubt, this sneaker will move quite fast, but more than likely, we can expect more colorways to release as part of the sneaker’s 20th anniversary collection. Jordan Dub Zero Vivid Pink

Coming strong at the end of 2016, the Jordan Dub Zero finally gets an all-new colorway made exclusively for the ladies. The Jordan Dub Zero Vivid Pink sports a Cool Grey base, overlaid with a white and grey collage pattern. Vivid Pink graphics add some serious personality to the design, while a Wolf Grey mesh tongue allows your feet to breathe. The Air Jordan 4ish sole is molded in white and Vivid Pink with matching pink paint at the top. Additional details include the use of grey lace locks and laces.

One of Jordan Brand’s most popular “hybrid” sneakers to date, this new colorway of the Jordan Dub Zero should do quite well in stores when it releases on November 9, 2016. Unfortunately, it is limited to kids sizes only, so those with bigger feet will have to settle for a different colorway. The sneaker priced at $120, which is fairly reasonable compared today’s Air Jordan prices. To sweeten the deal even more, you can already find these on eBay for $100 or less from a number of sellers. Introducing the Nike Air Max 90 Utility

The Nike Air Max 90 gets shrouded for its latest update, the Nike Air Max 90 Utility. It retains the same look as the original, but with the addition of a leather shroud around the top, providing a little extra protection while running. This first colorway primarily consists of white leather, complemented with black graphics and rough textured while leather around the sides. The sole is molded in white as well and is contrasted with a black visible Max Air unit. Below, you’ll see an on-foot look at the sneaker.

The shrouded look probably won’t sit too well with the Air Max 90 purists, but it’s cool update for those looking for something a little different, or anyone tired of cleaning dirty laces. This particular colorway is somewhat reminiscent of the Nike Air Zoom Flight 98 Glove made for none other than Gary Payton, thanks to its shroud and simplistic white and black design. It’s too early to tell how successful this model will be, but let’s hope that Nike plans to give us some more colorful releases that really show off the sneaker’s potential (an Infrared release, perhaps?).

The Nike Air Max 90 Utility has not reached U.S. shores as of yet, and it’s unknown if we’ll see them at all. You can, however, order a pair now from the Switzerland-based shop Titolo. The retail price is CHF 189.90 or $196.11. What’s your opinion on this Nike Air Max 90 model?

Air Jordan XXX1 “Space Jam”

With the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam release now less than two months away, what better time to release an all-new sneaker inspired by the movie? The folks at Jordan Brand apparently had the same thoughts on their mind, and have decided to applied the theme to its latest model, the Air Jordan XXX1.

Taking similar design cues from the AJ11s, this colorway sports a black Flyknit upper, matched with black patent leather around the ankle area. Dark Concord Jumpman graphics have been embroidered on the heel, while black laces hold everything together. Finishing things off is a white midsole with you guessed it, and icy clear outsole. Sure, the details are a bit subtle, but they get the point across.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the the Space Jam theme has been applied to another sneaker. In 2011, we got the Nike Dunk SB Low Space Jam. This is certainly Jordan Brand’s best attempt, however at paying homage to the design. Hopefully this colorway will receive its expected success, and we’ll see a few more Space Jam-inspired releases in the future, especially on a few of the previous Air Jordan models. At the moment, the release date for the Air Jordan XXX1 remains unknown, but expect a $185 price tag. Stay tuned for an update in the near future with more information an detailed photos.

Air Jordan 12 Low Red Suede in 2017

2016 has been a great year for the Air Jordan 12, thanks to hot releases like the Gym Red and the Flu Game colorways. Next year looks to be no different, as Jordan Brand plans to give us an all new colorway of the less popular-yet-successful Air Jordan XII Low.

The Air Jordan 12 Low Red Suede features just that, a bright red suede upper, contrasted with black pebbled leather on the sides. The graphics, eyelets, and laces feature a deep black as well, while the sole is molded in red. A black and red tongue logos while white lettering help to even out the overall look of the sneaker.

This colorway somewhat seems like a halfhearted attempt to keep the Air Jordan 12 craze going, and the bright colors will probably be a bit much for some. The AJ12 enthusiasts, however, will certainly appreciate having another pair to add to their collection. An original colorway, this pair sports a full leather upper draped in white and University Red and surrounded black hence the name “Black Toe” Black laces and matching graphics help to complete the Chicago Bulls-inspired color scheme. The sole is molded in white and red.

A highly popular colorway, the Black Toe 1s sold out within minutes online, and quite fast in most stores as well. Las year we got a duckboot, and this year Nike is giving the working man a more comfortable sneaker with its latest Air Force 1 reincarnation, the Nike Lunar Force 1 Flyknit Workboot. Retaining the super comfortable Lunarlon sole, this heavy duty AF1 also sports Flyknit material across the midfoot and toe areas, resulting in increased comfort while also reducing weight.

This particular colorway combines Golden Beige suede with Olive Flak Flyknit material, complemented with a sail midsole. The laces are Golden beige as well, while the outsole is a Gum Brown.

Air Jordan 3 True Blue 2016 Black Friday Release

Despite numerous re-releases already, the Air Jordan 3 True Blue still remains iconic enough to hit shelves again. Sporting a clean white upper, with True Blue and Fire Red accents, it’s quite easy to see why this sneaker is so popular. Oh, and the elephant print might have a little bit to do with it as well. This release also retains the sneaker’s plastic hang tag accessory. Releasing as part of Jordan Brand’s remastered series, this looks to be the best version we’ve seen since the sneaker originally dropped in 1988.

Scheduled for a Black Friday release on November 25, 2016, the Air Jordan III True Blue will retail for $220. This date has been listed in the Air Jordan Release Dates for future reference.
